Exodus 20 The ten Commandments

Exodus 20
The ten Commandments
And God spoke all these words, saying:
I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
Thou shalt have no other God before me.
You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of what is over the heavens, or beneath the earth, or in low-land waters.
Be not bow down to them nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.
And showing mercy to thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
Do not tomaraás the name of Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy doors.
For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and everything in them, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Honour thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
Thou shalt not kill.
Do not commit adultery.
Thou shalt not steal.
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
You shall not covet your neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor only woman nor the manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor's.
And all the people saw the thunder and lightning, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, he withdrew and stood afar off.
And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: let not God speak with us, lest we die.
And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before you, that ye sin not.
And the people stood afar off: Moses but if he arrived at the thick darkness where God was.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel: You have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.
Ye shall not make other gods with me; silver or gold gods gods ye shall not make for yourselves.
An altar of earth thou shalt make me, and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your oxen: in every place where I cause the memory of my name I will come to you and I will bless you.
And if you make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not compel of hewn stone; get over it lift up your tool, profane it wilt.
also not up steps to my altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.
