Exorta-se toda a criatura a celebrar o Senhor
1 Celebrai com júbilo ao Senhor, todos os moradores da
terra.
2 Servi ao Senhor com alegria; e apresentai-vos a ele com
canto.
3 Sabei que o Senhor é Deus: foi ele, e não nós, que nos
fez povo seu e ovelhas do seu pasto.
4 Entrai pelas portas dele com louvor, e em seus átrios com
hinos: louvai-o, e bendizei o seu nome.
5 Porque o Senhor é bom, e eterna a sua misericórdia; e a

The Greatness of God's Kingdom

3 Let them praise your name, great and awesome, for it is holy.
4 The king's strength loves justice; you establish equity; you execute justice and righteousness in Jacob.
5 Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool, for he is holy.
6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among those who call on his name, cried out to the Lord, and he heard them.
7 He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud; they kept his testimonies and the statutes he gave them.

A grandeza do reino de Deus

Praise the Lord for His salvation's sake
1 Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things; his right hand and his holy arm have won him victory.
2 The Lord has made known his salvation; he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.
3 He has remembered his lovingkindness and his truth toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all you inhabitants of the earth; shout for joy, be glad, and sing praises.
5 Sing praises to the Lord with the harp; with the harp and the voice of melody.
6 With trumpets and the sound of the cornet, make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.
7 Let the sea roar, and all that is in it; the world, and those who dwell in it.
8 Let the rivers clap their hands; let the mountains also rejoice,
9 Before the face of the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the people with equity.

The Majesty of God's Kingdom: The Punishment of the Wicked: An Exhortation to Piety and Rejoicing
1 The Lord reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the many islands be glad.
2 Clouds and darkness are around him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
3 A fire goes before him; it burns up his enemies on every side.
4 His lightnings give light to the world; the earth saw and trembled.
5 The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of all the earth.
6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory.
7 Let all who serve carved images be put to shame, who boast of worthless idols; bow down before him, all you gods.

A Call to All the Earth to Praise and Fear the Lord
1 Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth!
2 Sing to the Lord, bless his name; proclaim his salvation from day to day!
3 Declare his glory among the nations, his wonders among all peoples.
4 For great is the Lord and greatly to be praised, and he is to be feared above all gods.
5 For all the gods of the peoples are worthless; but the Lord made the heavens.
6 Glory and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
7 Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength!
8 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
9 Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth.
10 Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns; the world also will be established, so that it will not be moved. He will judge the peoples with righteousness.”

The Psalmist invites us to praise the Lord and to celebrate Him with a loud voice
1 Come, let us sing to the Lord; let us sing joyfully to the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before his face with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise to him with psalms.
3 For the Lord is a great God, a great King above all gods.
4 In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the heights of the mountains are his.
5 The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.
6 Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord who made us.
7 For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today if you hear his voice,
8 Harden not your hearts as at Meribah, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness;
9 When your fathers tempted me, they tested me and saw my work.
10 For forty years I was angry with that generation, and I said, "They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways."
11 Therefore I swore in my anger that they would not enter my rest.

O salmista convida a louvar ao Senhor e a celebrá-lo de
viva voz
1 Vinde, cantemos ao Senhor: cantemos com júbilo à rocha da
nossa salvação.
2 Apresentemo-nos ante a sua face com louvores, e
celebremo-lo com salmos.
3 Porque o Senhor é Deus grande, e Rei grande acima de
todos os deuses.
4 Nas suas mãos estão as profundezas da terra, e as alturas
dos montes são suas.
5 Seu é o mar, pois ele o fez, e as suas mãos formaram a
terra seca.
6 Ó, vinde, adoremos e prostremo-nos; ajoelhemos diante do

A Plea for God's Justice Against Evildoers
1 O Lord, God, to whom vengeance belongs, O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth.
2 Lift up thyself, O judge of the earth: render recompense to the proud.
3 How long, O Lord, how long will the wicked rejoice?
4 How long will they utter and speak hard things, and all the workers of iniquity boast?
5 They have cut down thy people, and afflicted thine inheritance.
6 They have slain the widow and the stranger, and slain the fatherless.
7 They have said, The Lord will not see; the God of Jacob will not regard this.
8 Pay attention, you brutal men among the people; and you fools, when will you be wise?
9 He who made the ear, shall he not hear? And he who formed the eye, shall he not see?
10 He who reproves the people, shall he not punish? And he who gives man knowledge, shall he not know?
11 The Lord knows the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12 Blessed is the man whom you rebuke, O Lord, and whom you teach out of your law;
13 That you may give him rest from days of trouble, until the pit is dug for the wicked.
14 For the Lord will not cast off his people, nor forsake his inheritance.
15 But judgment will return to righteousness, and all the upright in heart will follow it.
16 Who will be for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17 Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul would have dwelt in silence.
18 When I said, "My foot slips," your lovingkindness, O Lord, held me up.
19 When my anxiety was multiplied within me, your comforts refreshed my soul.
20 Should the throne of iniquity have fellowship with you, which devises mischief under the law?
21 They rush upon the life of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood.
22 But the Lord has been my refuge, and my God the rock in which I have taken refuge.
23 He will bring their iniquity upon them; he will destroy them in their own wickedness; the Lord our God will destroy them.

Apelação à justiça de Deus contra os malfeitores
1 Ó Senhor Deus, a quem a vingança pertence, Ó Deus, a quem
a vingança pertence, mostra-te resplandecente.
2 Exalta-te, tu, que és juiz da terra: dá o pago aos
soberbos.
3 Até quando os ímpios, Senhor, até quando os ímpios
saltarão de prazer.
4 Até quando proferirão, e dirão coisas duras, e se gloriarão
todos os que praticam a iniqüidade?
5 Reduzem a pedaços o teu povo, e afligem a tua herança.
6 Matam a viúva e o estrangeiro, e ao órfão tiram a vida.
7 E dizem: Ó Senhor não o verá; nem para isso atentará o
Deus de Jacó.
8 Atendei, ó brutais dentre o povo; e vós, loucos, quando
sereis sábios?
9 Aquele que fez o ouvido, não ouvirá? E o que formou o
olho, não verá?
10 Aquele que argue as gentes, não castigará? E o que dá ao
homem o conhecimento, não saberá?
11 O Senhor conhece os pensamentos do homem, que são
vaidade.
12 Bem-aventurado é o homem a quem tu repreendes, ó Senhor,
e a quem ensinas a tua lei;
13 Para lhe dares descanso dos dias maus, até que se abra a
cova para o ímpio.
14 Pois o Senhor não rejeitará o seu povo, nem desamparará
a sua herança.
15 Mas o juízo voltará a ser justiça, e hão de seguí-lo
todos os retos de coração.
16 Quem será por mim contra os malfeitores? Quem se porá ao
meu lado contra os que praticam a iniqüidade?
17 Se o Senhor não fora em meu auxílio já a minha alma habitaria
no lugar do silêncio.
18 Quando eu disse: O meu pé vacila; a tua benignidade,
Senhor, me susteve.
19 Multiplicando-se dentro de mim os meus cuidados, as tuas
consolações recrearam a minha alma.
20 Podia acaso associar-se contigo o trono de iniqüidade,
que forja o mal tendo por pretexto a lei?
21 Acorrem em tropel contra a vida do justo, e condenam o
sangue inocente.
22 Mas o Senhor foi o meu alto retiro; e o meu Deus a rocha
em que me refugiei.
23 E fará recair sobre eles a sua própria iniqüidade; e os
destruirá na sua própria malícia: o Senhor nosso Deus os destruirá.

परमेश्वर के राज्य की शक्ति और महिमा
1 यहोवा राज्य करता है; वह महिमा से सुसज्जित है; यहोवा शक्ति से सुसज्जित और कमरबंद है; संसार भी स्थिर है, और उसे हिलाया नहीं जा सकता।
2 तेरा सिंहासन प्राचीन काल से स्थापित है; तू अनादि काल से है।
3 हे परमेश्वर, नदियाँ अपनी आवाज़ बुलंद करती हैं; नदियाँ अपनी लहरें उठाती हैं।
4 परन्तु ऊँचे स्थान पर यहोवा प्रचण्ड जल के शोर से, समुद्र की प्रचण्ड लहरों से भी अधिक शक्तिशाली है।
5 तेरी चितौनियाँ बहुत पक्की हैं; हे यहोवा, तेरा घर सदा पवित्र रहेगा।
