Judges 06 An angel talks to Gideon
Judges 06
An angel talks to Gideon
11 Then the angel of the Lord came, and sat down under the oak that is in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash, Abiezrite: and Gideon, his son, was working out the wheat in the winepress, to save him from the Midianites.
12 Then the angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, The Lord is with you, a valiant man.
13 But Gideon said to him, Alas, my lord, if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? and what is done of all his wonders that our fathers tell us, saying, Has not the Lord brought us up out of Egypt? But now the Lord has forsaken us, and has given us into the hand of the Midianites.
14 Then the Lord looked at him and said, "Go in this strength of yours and you will deliver Israel out of the hand of the Midianites. Didn't I send you?"
15 And he said to him, Alas, my lord, with what shall I deliver Israel? behold, my thousand is the poorest in Manasseh, and I the least in my father's house.
16 And the Lord said to him, Because I will be with you, you will strike the Midianites as though they were one man.
17 And he said to him, If now I have found favor in your eyes, give me a sign that you are what you speak to me.
18 I beg you not to depart from here until I come to you and bring my gift and set it before you. And he said: I will wait until you return.
19 And Gideon came in and prepared a kid and unleavened cakes from a flour meal; the meat was put in a saffron and the broth put in a pot: and brought it up under the oak, and presented it to him.
20 But the angel of God said to him, "Take the unleavened meat and cakes and put them on this cake and pour the broth. And so it did.
21 And the angel of the Lord extended the tip of the staff, which was in his hand, and touched the meat and unleavened cakes: then fire came up from the wood, and consumed the unleavened meat and cakes; and the angel of the Lord disappeared from his eyes.
22 Then Gideon saw that he was the angel of the Lord; and Gideon said, Ah! Lord, Jehovah, that I saw the angel of the Lord face to face!
23 But the Lord said to him, Peace be with you: fear not: you will not die.
24 Then Gideon built an altar there to the Lord, and called him, Lord is peace: and even today he is in Ophra of the Abiezrites.
25 And it happened that very night that the Lord said to him: Take your father's ox, namely, the second ox of seven years: and bring down the altar of Baal, which is your father's; and cut the forest at his foot.
26 And build an altar to the Lord your God on the top of this strong place, in a convenient place: and take the second ox, and you shall offer it as a burnt offering with the wood you cut from the forest.
27 Then Gideon took ten men from among his servants, and did as the Lord had told him: and it came to pass that, fearing his father's house, and the men of that city, he did not do it by day, but did it by night.
28 When the men of that city arose at dawn, behold, Baal's altar was torn down and the forest which was at his foot was cut off: and the second ox was offered at the newly built altar.
29 And they said to one another, Who did this thing? When they searched and inquired, they said, Gideon, the son of Jobas, did this thing.
30 Then the men of that city said to Joash, Take your son out so that he may die, for he has broken down the altar of Baal, and has cut down the forest at his foot.
31 But Joas said to all who stood against him, Will you contend for Baal? will you deliver him? whoever contests for him this morning will be killed: if he is a god, contend for himself; because they knocked down your altar
32 So they called him Jerubaal that day, saying, Baal contend against him, for he has broken down his altar.
33 And all the Midianites and Amalekites, and the children of the East, were gathered together in one body, and passed by, and laid their field in the valley of Jezreel.
34 Then the spirit of the Lord came upon Gideon, who blew the horn, and the Abiezrites came together after him.
35 And he sent messengers throughout the tribe of Manasseh, who was also summoned after him: he also sent messengers to Eser, and to Zebulun, and to Naphtali, and they went out to meet him.
36 And Gideon said to God, If you will deliver Israel by my hand, as you have said,
37 Behold, I will put a fleece of wool on the threshing floor: if the dew is only on the fleece, and dryness over the whole earth, then I will know that you will deliver Israel by my hand, as you have said.
38 And it was so: for the next day he arose at dawn, and pressed the fleece: and the dew on the fleece squeezed a bowl full of water.
39 And Gideon said to God, Thy anger should not be kindled against me, if I only speak this once: I beg you only this time to try the fleece to be dry, and in all the land there is dew.
40 And God did so that night: for it was dry on the fleece only, and there was dew on all the earth.

12 Então o anjo do Senhor lhe apareceu, e lhe disse: O Senhor é contigo, varão valoroso.

8 यहोवा ने इस्राएल के बच्चों को एक नबी भेजा, जिन्होंने उनसे कहा, इस प्रकार यहोवा, इस्राएल के ईश्वर को कहो: मिस्र से मैं तुम्हें उठा लाया, और तुम्हें बंधन के घर से निकाल लाया;
9 और मैंने तुम्हें मिस्रियों के हाथ से, और उन सभी के हाथों से बचाया, जिन्होंने तुम्हें प्रताड़ित किया था; और उन्हें तुम्हारे सामने से निकाल दिया, और तुम्हें अपनी जमीन दे दी;

8 यहोवा ने इस्राएल के बच्चों को एक नबी भेजा, जिन्होंने उनसे कहा, इस प्रकार यहोवा, इस्राएल के ईश्वर को कहो: मिस्र से मैं तुम्हें उठा लाया, और तुम्हें बंधन के घर से निकाल लाया;
9 और मैंने तुम्हें मिस्रियों के हाथ से, और उन सभी के हाथों से बचाया, जिन्होंने तुम्हें प्रताड़ित किया था; और उन्हें तुम्हारे सामने से निकाल दिया, और तुम्हें अपनी जमीन दे दी;
Judges 06 Servitude under the Medianites
Judges 06
Servitude under the Medianites
1 But the children of Israel did what seemed evil in the eyes of the Lord: and the Lord gave them into the hands of the Midianites for seven years.
2 And when the Medianites prevailed over Israel, the children of Israel made themselves, for the Midianites, the pits in the mountains, and the caves and the fortifications.
3 For it happened that the Israelites and the Amalekites went up to sow Israel; and those of the East against him also went up.
4 And they went against them in the field, and destroyed the newness of the land, until they reached Gaza: and they left no food in Israel, neither sheep, nor oxen, nor donkeys.
5 For they went up with their cattle and tents; they came like locusts, in so many crowds that they could not be counted, neither they nor their camels: and they entered the land to destroy it.
6 So Israel was greatly impoverished by the presence of the Midianites: so the children of Israel cried out to the Lord.
7 And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried out to the Lord because of the Midianites,
8 The Lord sent a man a prophet to the children of Israel, who said to them, Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel: From Egypt I brought you up, and brought you out of the house of bondage;
9 And I saved you from the hand of the Egyptians, and from the hand of all who oppressed you; and expelled them from before you, and gave you your land;
10 And I said to you, I am the Lord your God; do not fear the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: but you have not listened to my voice.

8 Enviou o Senhor um homem profeta aos filhos de Israel, que lhes disse: Assim diz o Senhor, Deus de Israel: Do Egito eu vos fiz subir, e vos tirei da casa da servidão;
9 E vos livrei da mão dos egípcios, e da mão de todos quanto vos oprimiam; e os expeli de diante de vós, e a vós dei a sua terra;

Judges 05 The song of Deborah
Judges 05
The song of Deborah
1 And Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam sang that very day, saying,
2 Because the chiefs took the lead in Israel, because the people volunteered, praise the Lord.
3 Hear, kings; give ear, princes: I, I will sing to the Lord; I will chant to the Lord God of Israel.
4 O Lord, when you left Seir, walking from the field of Edrom, the earth shook; even the skies dripped: even the clouds dripped water.
5 The mountains melted before the Lord God of Israel.
6 In the days of Sangar, son of Anate, in the days of Jael, the paths of travel ceased and those walking along paths went on twisted paths.
7 The villages in Israel ceased, they ceased: until I, Deborah, arose as a mother in Israel, I arose.
8 And if new gods were chosen, soon the war was at hand: did a shield or spear be seen among forty thousand in Israel?
9 My heart is for the legislators of Israel, who voluntarily volunteered among the people; Praise the lord.
10 You who ride on white donkeys, who sit in judgment, and who walk along the way, speak of this.
11 Where the sound of the arrows is heard, between the places where water is drawn, there speak of the righteousness of the Lord of the righteousness he did to his villages in Israel: then the people of the Lord came down at the gates.
12 Wake up, wake up, Deborah: wake up, wake up, sing a song: get up, Barak, and take prisoners to your prisoners, you son of Abinoam.
13 Then the Lord dominated the splendid among the people, what was left: the Lord dominated me over the mighty.
14 From Ephraim its root came out against Amalek: and after you Benjamin came from among your people: from Maquir and Zebulun the lawmakers went down, passing by with the staff of the scribe.
15 The chiefs of Issachar, too, went with Deborah; and like Issachar, so too Barak, he was sent on foot into the valley: in the currents of Reuben the resolutions of the heart were great.
16 Why did you stay among the corrals to hear the bleating of the flocks? In the divisions of Reuben they had great searches of the heart.
17 Gilead stayed beyond the Jordan, and Dan why did he stop by ships? Aser sat in the sea ports, and stayed in its ruins.
18 Zebulun is a people who exposed their lives to death, as well as Naphtali, in the heights of the countryside.
19 Kings came, fought: then the kings of Canaan fought in Taanaque by the waters of Megiddo: they took no silver gain.
20 From the heavens they fought: even the stars from the places of their courses fought against Sisera.
21 The stream of Kishon drew them, that old stream, the stream of Kishom. You have thought, O my soul, of strength.
22 Then the horses' nails shattered: by the gallop of their mighty men.
23 Curse Meroz, says the angel of the Lord, further curse your inhabitants: because they did not come to the help of the Lord, to the help of the Lord with the mighty.
24 Blessed be the women Jael, wife of Héber, the Kenyan: blessed be the women in the tents.
25 He asked for water, she gave him milk: in a prince's bowl she offered him butter.
26 He stretched out his left hand at the stake, and the right hand at the sheaf of workers: and he killed Sisera, and cracked his head when he nailed him and went through the fountains.
27 Between his feet he bowed, fell, was stretched: between his feet he bowed, fell: where he bowed there he was struck down.
28 Sisera's mother looked out the window and exclaimed through the railing: Why does it take so long for your car to come? why are your car steps slow?
29 The wisest of your ladies answered; and even she answered herself:
30 Would they not find and share spoils? a girl or two to each man? for Sisera spoils of various colors, spoils of various colors of embroidery; of various colors embroidered from both bands, for the necks of the spoil?
31 So, O Lord, let all your enemies perish! But those who love him be like the sun when it comes out in its strength.
32 And the land was still forty years.

Pisaste, ó minha alma, a força.
32 E sossegou a terra quarenta anos.

Jael kills Sisera
18 And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said to him, Retreat, my lord, retreat to me, fear not. He retired to his tent and she covered him with a blanket.
19 Then he said to him, "Give me, I ask you to drink some water, because I am thirsty." Then she opened a skin of milk, and gave him a drink, and covered him.
20 And he said to him, You stand at the door of the tent; and it will be that if someone comes, and asks you, and says, Is there anyone here? you answer then: No.
21 Then Jael, the wife of Héber, took a stake from the tent, and used a hammer, and went meekly to it and drove the stake into the fountain, and nailed it to the ground, while he was still in a deep sleep. , and already tired; and so he died.
22 And behold, as Barak followed Sisera, Jael went out to meet him, and said to him, Come, and I will show you the man you are looking for. And it came to her, and, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the stake in the fountain.
23 So that day God subjected Jabin king of Canaan to the children of Israel.
24 And the hand of the children of Israel continued to fight and harden over Jabin, king of Canaan: until they exterminated Jabin, king of Canaan.

Judges 04
Deborah and Barak free us
4 And Deborah, a prophetic woman, a woman from Lapidote, judged Israel at that time.
5 And he lived under Deborah's palms, between Ramah and Bethel, in the mountains of Ephraim; and the children of Israel went up to her in judgment.
6 And he sent, and called Barak the son of Abinoam of Chedes of Naphtali, and said to him, Perhaps the Lord God of Israel did not command, saying, Go, and draw people to Mount Tabor, and take ten thousand men of you with you. sons of Naphtali and the sons of Zebulun?
7 And I will draw Sisera, the captain of the army of Jabin, with his chariots and his multitude to the stream of Kishon, and I will give him into your hand.
8 Then Barak said to him, "If you go with me, I will go.
9 And she said, I will certainly go with you, but honor will not be yours in the way you lead; for at the hand of a woman the Lord will sell Sisera. And Deborah got up, and left with Barak for Quedes.
10 Then Barak summoned Zebulun and Naphtali at Quedes, and went up with ten thousand men after him: and Deborah went up with him.
11 And Héber, a Kenyan, had departed from the Kenites, from the sons of Hobab, Moses' father-in-law: and had spread out their tents to the oak tree of Saananim, which is by Kedes.
12 And they announced to Sisera that Barak son of Abinoam had gone up to Mount Tabor.
13 And Sisera summoned all his chariots, nine hundred chariots, and all the people who were with him, from Haroseth of the Gentiles to the stream of Kishon.
14 Then Deborah said to Barak, Arise: for this is the day when the Lord has given Sisera into your hand: Has the Lord not come out before you? Barak therefore came down from Mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
15 And the Lord defeated Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his army by the sword, before Barak: and Sisera got out of the chariot, and fled on foot.
16 And Barak followed them after the chariots, and after the army, until Haroset of the Gentiles, and all the army of Sisera fell by the edge of the sword, until there was not one.
17 But Sisera fled on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of Héber, a Kenyan: because there was peace between Jabin, king of Hazor, and the house of Héber, a Kenyan.

Judges 04
Servitude under Jabin king of Canaan
1 But the children of Israel did again what seemed evil in the eyes of the Lord, after Ehud died.
2 And the Lord sold them into the hand of Jabin, king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor: and Sisera was the captain of his army, who then dwelt in Haroseth of the Gentiles.
3 Then the children of Israel cried out to the Lord, because he had nine hundred ironcars, and twenty years he violently oppressed the children of Israel.

28 और उस ने उन से कहा, मेरा अनुसरण करो: क्योंकि यहोवा ने तुम्हारे शत्रुओं, मोआबियों को तुम्हारे हाथ में दे दिया है;

Judges 03 Eúde deliver them
Judges 03
Eúde deliver them
15 Then the children of Israel cried out to the Lord, and the Lord raised up a deliverer for them, Ehud, son of Gera, Benjamin, son of Jemini, left-handed man. And the children of Israel sent a gift to Eglon, king of the Moabites, by his hand.
16 And Ehud made a two-edged sword, the length of a cubit: and girded it under his garments, to his right thigh.
17 And he brought that gift to Eglon, king of the Moabites; and Eglom was a very fat man.
18 And it came to pass that, having just delivered the gift, he dismissed the people who had brought the gift.
19 But he returned from the images of sculptures at the foot of Gilgal, and said, I have a secret word for you, O king. Who said: Shut up. And all who attended him went out before him.
20 And Ehud entered a cool upper room, which the king had for himself, where he sat, and Ehud said, I have a word from God for you. And got up from the chair.
21 Then Ehud stretched out his left hand, and took the sword from his right thigh, and stuck it in his belly.
22 In such a way that it entered until the hilt after the leaf, and the fat enclosed the leaf (because it did not take the sword from the womb): and the excrement came out.
23 Then Ehud went out into the room, and closed the upper room doors on him, and closed them.
24 And when he went out, his servants came and saw, and, behold, the doors of the upper room were closed; and they said, No doubt you are covering your feet in the chamber of the cool upper room.
25 And waiting until they were bored, behold, the doors of the upper room did not open: so they took the key, and opened it, and, behold, their lord lying dead on the ground.
26 And Ehud escaped while they lingered; because he passed through the sculpture images, and escaped to Seirate.
27 And it came to pass, when he came in, that he blew the horn in the mountains of Ephraim: and the children of Israel went down with him from the mountains, and he before them,
28 And he said to them, Follow me: for the Lord has given you to your enemies, the Moabites, in your hand;
29 And at that time about ten thousand men were wounded by the Moabites, all of them stout, and all of them valiant men: and none escaped.
30 So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel: and the land was quiet for eighty years.
31 After him was Sagar, son of Anath, who smote six hundred Philistine men with a goad of oxen: and he also delivered Israel.
