A herança e os direitos dos sacerdotes e dos levitas
1 Os sacerdotes levitas, toda a tribo de Levi, não terão parte nem herança em Israel: das ofertas, queimadas do Senhor e da sua herança comerão.
2 Pelo que não terá herança no meio de seus irmãos: o Senhor é a sua herança, como lhe tem dito.

19 And he shall have it with him, and shall read therein all the days of thy life; that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law, and these statutes, to do them;
20 That his heart may not be lifted up upon his brethren, and departeth not from the commandment, either to the right hand or to the left. That he may prolong the days in his kingdom, he and his sons in the midst of Israel.

4 And if it be denounced, and you hear it; then shalt thou ask him, and, behold, it being true, and certain, that this abomination was done in Israel;

1 Keep the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee out of Egypt by night.
2 Then shalt thou sacrifice the passover unto the LORD thy God, the sheep and the cattle, in the place which the LORD shall choose to cause his name to dwell there.
3 Thou shalt not eat leavened therein: seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therein, bread of affliction (because thou hast hastily departed from the land of Egypt), that thou mayest remember the day of thy departing from the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.
4 Yeast will not appear with you for seven days in all your terms: neither of the flesh which thou shalt kill in the evening on the first day shall be left until the morning.
5 You shall not be able to sacrifice the passover in any of your gates which the LORD your God gives you.
6 But in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose, to make his name dwell, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover in the evening, at sunset, at the appointed time of thy departure from Egypt.

1 At the end of the seven years you shall make remission.
2 For this is the way of remission: That every creditor who has lent one thing to his neighbor shall do it: he shall not require it from his neighbor or brother, for the remission of the Lord is proclaimed.
3 You shall demand it from a stranger: but whatsoever thou hast in thy brother's hand thy hand shall repay him:
4 Only so that there may not be poor in you: for the LORD shall bless you abundantly in the land which the LORD your God shall give you for an inheritance, to possess it.
5 If you will only hearken diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, take heed to do all these commandments which I command you this day:
6 For the LORD your God will bless you, as he has said to you, So you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow: and you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.
7 When there is any poor among you among your brothers, in some of your gates, in your land which the Lord your God gives you, you shall not harden your heart, nor close your hand to your poor brother.
8 But thou shalt open them with all thy hand, and freely lend unto him all that is lacking for him, as much as is needed for him.
9 Take heed that there be no word of Belial in your heart, saying, The seventh year is approaching, the year of remission: and let thine eye be evil toward thy poor brother, and give him nothing; and he cry unto thee to the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.
10 Thou shalt freely give him, and let not thine heart be evil, when thou shalt give him: for this cause shall the Lord thy God bless thee in all thy work, and in all that thou putest thy hand.
11 For the poor from the midst of the earth shall never cease: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thy hand to thy brother, to thy needy, and to thy poor in thy land.
12 When your Hebrew brother or Hebrew sister sells himself to you, he will serve you six years, but in the seventh year you will send him away from you.
13 And when you send him away from you, you shall not send him away empty.

16 But will he say to you, I will not go out from you; because he loves you and your house, because he is well with you:
17 Then shalt thou take an awl, and pierce his ear in the gate, and thy servant shall be for ever: and thou shalt also make thy handmaid.
18 Let not thy thing be hard in thy sight, when thou shalt cast it off from thee; For six years he served you twice the wages of the journeyman: so the Lord your God will bless you in all that you do.
19 And every firstborn that is born among your cows, and between your sheep, the male shall sanctify the LORD your God: with the firstborn of your ox you shall not work nor shear the firstborn of your sheep.
20 Thou shalt eat them before the LORD thy God year by year, in the place which the LORD shall choose, thou and thy house.
21 But if there be any defect in him, if he be lame or blind, or have any defect, thou shalt not sacrifice to the LORD thy God.

9 Guarda-te, que não haja palavra de Belial no teu coração, dizendo: Vai-se aproximando o sétimo ano, o ano da remissão: e que o teu olho seja maligno para com teu irmão pobre, e não lhe dês nada; e que ele clame a ti ao Senhor, e que haja em ti pecado.
10 Livremente lhe darás, e que o teu coração não seja maligno, quando lhe deres: pois por esta causa te abençoará o Senhor teu Deus em toda a tua obra, e em tudo no que puseres a tua mão.
11 Pois nunca cessará o pobre do meio da terra: pelo que te ordeno, dizendo: Livremente abrirás a tua mão para o teu irmão, para o teu necessitado,, e para o teu pobre na tua terra.

18 Não seja aos teus olhos coisa dura, quando o despedires forro de ti; pois seis anos te serviu em dobro do salário do jornaleiro: assim o Senhor teu Deus te abençoará em tudo o que fizeres.
19 Todo o primogênito que nascer entre as tuas vacas e ente as tuas ovelhas, o macho santificarás ao Senhor teu Deus: com o primogênito do teu boi não trabalharás, nem tosquiarás o primogênito das tuas ovelhas.
20 Perante o Senhor teu Deus os comerás de ano em ano, no lugar que o Senhor escolher, tu e a tua casa.
21 Porém, havendo nele algum defeito, se for coxo, ou cego, ou tiver qualquer defeito, não o sacrificarás ao Senhor teu Deus.
22 Nas tuas portas o comerás: o imundo e o limpo o comerão juntamente, como da corça ou do veado.
23 Somente o seu sangue não comerás: sobre a terra o derramarás como água.
