Deuteronomy 19
About boundaries and witnesses
Do not change the mark of your neighbor, who has placed the ancients in your inheritance, which you have in the land, which the LORD your God gives you to possess.
One witness against no one shall arise for any iniquity, or for any sin, whatever the sin which he has sinned: by the mouth of two witnesses, or by the mouth of three witnesses, the business shall be established.
When a false witness arises against anyone, to testify against him concerning transgression.
Then those two men who have demand shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and judges in those days:
And the judges shall well inquire; and, behold, the witness being a false witness, who testified falsehood against his brother,
And you shall do to him as he thought to do to his brother: and thus shalt thou remove evil from among you.
That those who remain may hear and fear, and never again do such evil among you.
Your eye will not spare: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
