Deuteronomy 05
The repetition of the ten commandments
And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak unto you this day in the ears: and ye shall learn them, and keep them, to do them.
The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.
Not with our fathers did the Lord make this covenant, but with us, all who are alive here today.
The Lord spoke to us on the mountain in the midst of the fire face to face.
At that time I was standing between the Lord and you, to tell you the word of the Lord: for you have feared the fire, and you did not go up to the mountain, saying,
I am the LORD thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage:
Thou shalt have no other gods before me;
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of that which is upon heaven, or upon the earth beneath, or in the waters beneath the earth:
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, neither shalt thou serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, that I visit the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third generation of them that hate me,
And I have mercy on thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Thou shalt not take the name of thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless to take his name in vain;
Keep the Sabbath day holy, as the Lord your God has commanded.
Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work,
But on the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: thou shalt not do any work therein, nor thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy maidservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy ox, nor thy ass, nor any animal of yours, nor the stranger that is within thy gates: that thy servant and thy handmaid may rest as thou art;
For thou shalt remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence with a mighty hand and a stretched out arm: therefore the Lord thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
Honor thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee, that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may be well with thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Thou shalt not kill.
And thou shalt not commit adultery.
And you shall not steal.
And thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
And thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, neither shalt thou desire thy neighbor's house, nor his field, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any of thy neighbor's.
