Deuteronomy 04 Moses designates three cities of refuge

Deuteronomy 04
Moses designates three cities of refuge
41 And Moses divided three cities beyond the Jordan, from the band of the rising of the sun;
42 That there should be chosen the murderer that by mistake should slay his neighbor whom he hated not before: and if he chose one of these cities, and lived;
43 Bezer, in the wilderness, in the flat land, to the Reubenites; and Ramoth at Gilead to the Gadites; and the Golan in Bashan for the Manassites.
44 This is the law that Moses proposed to the children of Israel.
45 These are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which Moses spake unto the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt;
46 And from the Jordan on the valley opposite Beth-peor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon: whom he smote Moses and the children of Israel, and they came out of the land of Egypt.
47 And they took their land for a possession, and the land of Og king of Bashan, two kings of the Amorites, which were beyond the Jordan, out of the sun.
48 From Aroer, which is by the border of the brook Arnon, to mount Sihon, which is Hermon,
49 And all the plain of the Jordan eastward, even unto the sea of the plain, under Ashdod-Pisgah.
