दाऊद ने परमेश्वर की स्तुति की, क्योंकि उसने उसे विजय प्रदान की है

1 हे परमेश्वर, मेरा हृदय स्थिर है; मैं अपने पूरे प्राण से गाऊंगा और राग अलापूंगा।

2 हे वीणा और सारंगी, जाग उठो; मैं भोर होते ही जाग उठूंगा।

3 हे यहोवा, मैं देश देश के लोगों के बीच तेरा धन्यवाद करूंगा; मैं राष्ट्रों के बीच तेरा भजन गाऊंगा।

4 क्योंकि तेरी करुणा आकाश से भी ऊंची है, और तेरी सच्चाई बादलों से भी आगे तक पहुंचती है।

5 हे परमेश्वर, आकाश से भी ऊंचा हो, और तेरी महिमा सारी पृथ्वी से भी ऊंची हो,

6 कि तेरे प्रिय छुड़ाए जाएं; अपने दाहिने हाथ से हमें बचा, और हमारी सुन।

7 परमेश्वर ने अपने पवित्रस्थान में कहा है: मैं आनन्दित होऊंगा; मैं शेकेम को बांटूंगा, और सुक्कोत की घाटी को नापूंगा।

8 गिलाद मेरा है, मनश्शे मेरा है; एप्रैम मेरे सिर का बल है, यहूदा मेरा व्यवस्था देनेवाला है।

9 मोआब मेरा धोने का बर्तन है; एदोम पर मैं अपना जूता फेंक दूँगा, फिलीस्तीन पर मैं जयजयकार करूँगा।

10 कौन मुझे दृढ़ नगर में पहुँचाएगा? कौन मुझे एदोम तक ले चलेगा?

11 हे परमेश्वर, क्या तू ही ने हम को अस्वीकार नहीं किया? और हे परमेश्वर, क्या तू हमारी सेना के साथ बाहर नहीं जाएगा?

12 संकट से हमारी सहायता कर, क्योंकि मनुष्य की सहायता व्यर्थ है।

13 परमेश्वर की सहायता से हम वीरता से काम लेंगे, क्योंकि वह हमारे शत्रुओं को पैरों तले रौंद देगा।

1 My heart is fixed, O God; I will sing and make melody with all my soul.

2 Awake, psaltery and harp; I will awake at the break of dawn.

3 I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.

4 For your lovingkindness is high above the heavens, and your truth reaches beyond the clouds.

5 Be exalted above the heavens, O God, and your glory above all the earth,

6 That your beloved may be delivered: save us with your right hand, and answer us.

7 God has spoken in his sanctuary: I will rejoice; I will divide Shechem, and I will measure out the valley of Succoth.

8 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is the strength of my head, Judah my lawgiver.

9 Moab is my washpot; over Edom I will cast out my shoe, over Palestine I will shout for joy.

10 Who will bring me to the strong city? Who will guide me to Edom?

11 Is it not you, O God, who have rejected us? And will you not go out, O God, with our armies?

12 Give us help from trouble, for help from man is vain.

13 Through God we will do valiantly, for he will trample our enemies underfoot.

1 Preparado está o meu coração, ó Deus; cantarei e salmodiarei com toda a minha alma.

2 Despertai, saltério e harpa; eu despertarei ao romper da alva.

3 Louvar-te-ei entre os povos, Senhor, e a ti cantarei salmos entre as nações.

4 Porque a tua benignidade se eleva acima dos céus, e a tua verdade ultrapassa as mais altas nuvens.

5 Exalta-te sobre os céus, ó Deus, e a tua glória sobre toda a terra,

6 Para que sejam livres os teus amados: salva-nos com a tua destra, e ouve-nos.

7 Deus falou no seu santuário: Eu me regozijarei; repartirei a Siquém, e medirei o vale de Sucote.

8 Meu é Galaade, meu é Manassés; Efraim é a força da minha cabeça, Judá o meu legislador.

9 Moabe a minha bacia de lavar: sobre Edom lançarei o meu sapato, sobre a Palestina jubilarei.

10 Quem me levará à cidade forte? Quem me guiará até Edom?

11 Porventura não serás tu, ó Deus, que nos rejeitaste? E não sairás, ó Deus, com os nossos exércitos?

12 Dá-nos auxílio para sairmos da angústia, porque vão é o socorro da parte do homem.

1 यहोवा की स्तुति करो, क्योंकि वह भला है, क्योंकि उसकी करुणा सदा बनी रहती है।

2 यहोवा के छुड़ाए हुए लोग ऐसा ही कहें, जिन्हें उसने शत्रु के हाथ से छुड़ाया है,

3 और जिन्हें उसने पूर्व और पश्चिम, उत्तर और दक्षिण के देशों से इकट्ठा किया है।

4 वे जंगल में, उजाड़ रास्तों में भटकते रहे; उन्हें रहने के लिए कोई शहर नहीं मिला।

5 भूखे और प्यासे, उनके प्राण उनके भीतर बेहोश हो गए।

6 और उन्होंने अपने संकट में यहोवा को पुकारा, और उसने उन्हें उनके संकट से बचाया।

12 देखो, उसने उनके हृदय को संकट से तोड़ दिया है; वे ठोकर खा गए हैं, और उनका कोई सहायक नहीं है।

13 तब उन्होंने संकट में यहोवा की दुहाई दी, और उसने उन्हें संकट से छुड़ाया।

14 उसने उन्हें अंधकार और मृत्यु की छाया से निकाला; उसने उनके बंधनों को टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर दिया।

15 वे यहोवा की भलाई के कारण, और मनुष्यों के लिये उसके आश्चर्यकर्मों के कारण उसकी स्तुति करें।

16 क्योंकि उसने पीतल के फाटकों को तोड़ डाला, और लोहे के बेड़ों को टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर डाला।

17 मूर्ख अपने अपराध और अधर्म के कारण दु:खी होते हैं।

18 उनके मन में सब प्रकार के भोजन के प्रति घृणा उत्पन्न हो गई है, और वे मृत्यु के फाटकों के निकट आ गए हैं। 

19 तब उन्होंने संकट में यहोवा को पुकारा, और उसने उन्हें संकट से छुड़ाया। 

20 उसने अपना वचन भेजकर उन्हें चंगा किया, और विनाश से छुड़ाया। 

21 वे यहोवा की भलाई के कारण, और मनुष्यों के लिये उसके आश्चर्यकर्मों के कारण उसकी स्तुति करें।

 22 और उन्होंने धन्यवाद के बलिदान चढ़ाए, और आनन्द से उसके कामों का वर्णन किया। 

23 जो लोग समुद्र में जहाज़ों पर सवार होकर जाते हैं, और बड़े जल में व्यापार करते हैं, 

24 वे यहोवा के कामों को, और गहरे सागर में उसके आश्चर्यकर्मों को देखते हैं। 

25 क्योंकि वह आज्ञा देता है, और तूफानी हवा उठती है, और अपनी लहरें उठाती है। 

26 वे आकाश तक चढ़ जाते हैं, और गहरे सागर में उतर जाते हैं, और उनके प्राण व्याकुल होकर पिघल जाते हैं। 

27 वे मतवाले की नाईं लड़खड़ाते और लड़खड़ाते हैं, और उनकी सारी बुद्धि जाती रहती है। 

28 तब वे संकट में यहोवा को पुकारते हैं, और वह उन्हें उनके संकटों से छुड़ाता है।

31 वे यहोवा की भलाई के कारण, और मनुष्यों के लिये उसके आश्चर्यकर्मों के कारण उसकी स्तुति करें।

32 वे लोगों की मण्डली में उसकी स्तुति करें, और पुरनियों की मण्डली में उसकी महिमा करें।

33 वह नदियों को जंगल बना देता है, और झरनों को प्यासी भूमि बना देता है;

34 उपजाऊ भूमि को खारा बना देता है, क्योंकि उसके रहनेवाले दुष्ट हैं।

35 वह जंगल को तालाब बना देता है, और सूखी भूमि को जल के सोते बना देता है।

36 और वह वहाँ भूखे लोगों को बसाता है, और वे अपने रहने के लिये नगर बनाते हैं;

37 वे खेत बोते हैं और दाख की बारियाँ लगाते हैं जो बहुत फल देती हैं।

38 और वह उन्हें आशीष देता है, जिससे वे बहुत बढ़ जाते हैं; और उनके पशु घटते नहीं।

39 परन्तु वे फिर से घटते हैं और अत्याचार, क्लेश और शोक से दब जाते हैं।

40 वह हाकिमों को तुच्छ जानता है, और उन्हें जंगल में भटकने देता है, जहाँ कोई मार्ग नहीं है।

41 परन्तु वह दरिद्रों को अत्याचार से छुड़ाकर ऊँचा उठाता है, और परिवारों को भेड़-बकरियों के समान बढ़ाता है।

42 धर्मी लोग यह देखकर आनन्दित होते हैं, परन्तु सब दुष्ट अपना मुँह बन्द कर लेते हैं।

43 बुद्धिमान लोग इन बातों पर ध्यान दें, और यहोवा की करुणा पर ध्यान दें।
