दाऊद अपनी ईमानदारी पर भरोसा करते हुए परमेश्वर की ओर मुड़ता है

1 हे यहोवा, मेरा न्याय कर, क्योंकि मैं अपनी ईमानदारी से चलता रहा हूँ; मैंने यहोवा पर भी भरोसा किया है; मैं विचलित नहीं होऊँगा।

2 हे यहोवा, मुझे जाँच और परख; मेरे मन और हृदय को जाँच।

3 क्योंकि तेरी करुणा मेरी आँखों के सामने है, और मैं तेरे सत्य के मार्ग पर चलता रहा हूँ।

4 मैं व्यर्थ लोगों के साथ नहीं बैठा, न ही मैंने धोखेबाज लोगों से बातचीत की।

5 मैं दुष्टों की सभा से घृणा करता हूँ; मैं दुष्टों की संगति नहीं करूँगा।

David Turns to God, Trusting in His Own Integrity

1 Judge me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity; I have trusted also in the Lord; I will not be moved.

2 Examine me, O Lord, and try me: search my reins and my heart.

3 For your lovingkindness is before my eyes, and I have walked in your truth.

4 I have not sat with vain men, nor have I conversed with deceitful men.

5 I have hated the assembly of evildoers; I will not associate with the wicked.

6 I wash my hands in innocence; so I will walk around your altar, O Lord,

7 To proclaim with the voice of praise, and to tell of all your wondrous works.

8 O Lord, I have loved the habitation of your house, the place where your glory dwells.

9 Do not take my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloodthirsty men, 

10 In whose hands is mischief, and whose right hand is full of bribes. 

11 But I walk in my integrity; deliver me, and have mercy on me. 

12 My foot stands on level ground; in the congregations I will praise the Lord.

1 To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

2 My God, in you I trust; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me.

3 Surely those who wait for you will not be put to shame; those who transgress without cause will be put to shame.

4 Make me know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths.

5 Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; I wait for you all the day long.

6 Remember, O Lord, your compassion and your lovingkindness, for they are from everlasting.

7 Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; but according to your lovingkindness remember me, for your goodness' sake, O Lord.

10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth to those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.

11 For your name's sake, O Lord, pardon my iniquity, for it is great.

12 Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will teach him in the way he should choose.

13 His soul will dwell in goodness, and his descendants will inherit the land.

14 The secret of the Lord is with those who fear him; and he will make known his covenant to them.

15 My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.

16 Look upon me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.

17 The troubles of my heart are great; deliver me out of my troubles. 18 Look on my affliction and my pain, and forgive all my sins.

19 Look on my enemies, for they are increasing and they hate me with cruel hatred.

20 Keep my soul and deliver me; do not let me be put to shame, for I trust in you.

21 May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I hope in you.

1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from the words of my roaring, and have not helped me?

2 My God, I cry out by day, but you do not hear; by night, and I have no rest.

3 But you are holy, inhabiting the praises of Israel.

4 Our fathers trusted in you; they trusted, and you delivered them.

5 To you they cried, and were saved; in you they trusted, and were not put to shame.

6 But I am a worm, and no man, a reproach to men, and despised by the people.

15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to my palate; and you have laid me in the dust of death.

16 For dogs have surrounded me; a company of evildoers have surrounded me; they have pierced my hands and my feet. 

17 I could count all my bones; they see and look at me.

18 They divide my garments among them, and cast lots for my clothing.

19 But you, O Lord, do not be far from me; my strength, make haste to help me.

20 Deliver my soul from the sword, my darling from the power of the dog.

21 Save me from the mouth of the lion; answer me from the horns of the unicorns.

22 Then I will declare your name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will praise you.

23 You who fear the Lord, praise him; all you descendants of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all you descendants of Israel.

24 For he has not despised or abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, nor has he hidden his face from him; but when he cried, he heard him.

 25 My praise will come from you in the great assembly; I will pay my vows before those who fear him.

26 The meek will eat and be satisfied; those who seek him will praise the Lord; your heart will live forever.

27 All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all generations will worship before you.

28 For the kingdom belongs to the Lord, and he rules over the nations.

29 All the great ones of the earth will eat and worship, and all who go down to the dust will bow down before him, and those who cannot keep their lives.

30 A seed will serve him; they will speak of the Lord from generation to generation.

1 Deus meu, Deus meu, por que me desamparaste? Por que te alongas das palavras do meu bramido, e não me auxilias?

2 Deus meu, eu clamo de dia, e tu não me ouves; de noite, e não tenho sossego.

3 Porém tu és Santo, o que habitas entre os louvores de Israel.

4 Em ti confiaram nossos pais; confiaram, e tu os livraste.

5 A ti clamaram e escaparam: em ti confiaram, e não foram confundidos.

6 Mas eu sou verme, e não homem, opróbrio dos homens e desprezado do povo.

8 Confiou no Senhor, que o livre; livre-o, pois nele tem prazer.

17 Poderia contar todos os meus ossos: eles vêem e me contemplam.

18 Repartem entre si os meus vestidos, e lançam sortes sobre a minha túnica,

19 Mas tu, Senhor, não te alongues de mim: força minha, apressa-te em socorrer-me.

20 Livra a minha alma da espada, e a minha predileta da força do cão.

21 Salva-me da boca do leão, sim, ouve-me, desde as pontas dos unicórnios.

22 Então declararei o teu nome aos meus irmãos: louvar-te-ei no meio da congregação.

23 Vós, que temeis ao Senhor, louvai-o; todos vós, descendência de Jacó, glorificai-o; e temei-o todos vós, descendência de Israel.

24 Porque não desprezou nem abominou a aflição do aflito, nem escondeu dele o seu rosto; antes, quando ele clamou, o ouviu.

25 Meu louvor virá de ti na grande congregação: pagarei os meus votos perante os que o temem.

David Praises God for Victory

1 The king rejoices in your strength, O Lord; he greatly rejoices in your salvation.

2 You have given him his heart's desire; you have not withheld the prayer of his lips.

3 For you have filled him with the blessings of goodness; you have set a crown of pure gold on his head.

4 He asked life of you, and you have given it to him, even length of days forever and ever.

5 His glory is great in your salvation; you have clothed him with honor and majesty.

6 For you have blessed him forever; you have filled him with joy with your presence.

7 For the king trusts in the Lord; through the mercy of the Most High he will never be shaken.

8 Your hand will find out all your enemies; your right hand will find out those who hate you.

 9 You will make them like a fiery furnace when you reveal yourself; the Lord will devour them in his wrath, and fire will consume them.

10 You will destroy their fruit from the earth, and their offspring from among the children of men.

11 Because they intended evil against you; they devised a plan, but they will not prevail.

12 Therefore you will turn their backs on them; with your arrows on the strings you will aim at their faces.

13 Be exalted, O Lord, in your strength; then we will sing and praise your power.

5 Grande é a sua glória pela tua salvação; de honra e de majestade o revestiste.

7 Porque o rei confia no Senhor, e pela misericórdia do Altíssimo nunca vacilará.

A ​​Prayer for the King in War

1 May the Lord hear you in the day of trouble; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.

2 May he send you help from his sanctuary, and sustain you from Zion.

3 May he remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt offerings.

4 May he grant you according to your heart, and fulfill all your purpose.

5 We will rejoice in your salvation; in the name of our God we will set up banners; may the Lord satisfy all your petitions.

6 Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

8 Some bow down and fall, but we rise up and stand upright.

9 Save us, O Lord; may the King hear our cry.
