14 So they passed on, and walked, and the sun went down beside Gibeah, which is the city of Benjamin.

15 And they retire there, to go to spend the night in Gibeah: and when he entered, he sat down in the town square, because there was no one to collect them at home to spend the night there.

16 And behold, an old man came in the evening from his work in the field, and he was this man from the mountain of Ephraim, but a pilgrim in Gibeah: but the men of this place were the sons of Benjamin.

17 And when he looked up, he saw this passenger in the town square, and the old man said, Where are you going, and where are you coming from?

18 And he said to him, We have passed from Bethlehem of Judah to the sides of the mountain of Ephraim, where I am from; because I went to Bethlehem of Judah: but now I am going to the house of the Lord, and there is no one to collect me at home;

2 Porém a sua concubina adulterou contra ele, e foi dele para casa de seu pai, a Belém de Judá, e esteve ali alguns dias, a saber, quatro meses.

3 E seu marido se levantou, e partiu após dela, para lhe falar conforme o seu coração, e para tornar a traze-la: e o seu moço e um par de jumentos iam com ele: e ela o levou a casa de seu pai, e vendo-o o pai da moça, alegrou-se ao encontrar-se com ele.

11 Estando pois já perto de Jebus , e tendo-se já declinado muito o dia, disse o moço a seu senhor: Caminhai agora, e retiremo-nos a esta cidade dos jebuseus e passemos ali a noite.

12 Porém disse-lhe seu senhor: Não nos retiramos a nenhuma cidade estranha, que não seja dos filhos de Israel: mas passemos até Gibeá.

13Disse mais a seu moço: Caminha, e cheguemos a um daqueles lugares, e passemos a noite em Gibeá ou em Ramá.

14 Passaram pois adiante, e caminharam, e o sol se lhes pôs junto a Gibeá: que é cidade de Benjamim.
