Judges 17
Mica and her home idol
1 And there was a man from the mountain of Ephraim, whose name was Micah.
2 And he said to his mother, The thousand and a hundred silver coins that were taken from you for whose sake you cursed, and you also said them in my ears, behold, I have this money, I have taken it. Then his mother said, Blessed be my son of the Lord.
3 So he returned the hundred and a thousand silver coins to his mother: but his mother said: I have entirely dedicated this money from my hand to the Lord for my son, to make an image of sculpture and foundry: so that now I will make it again. to give.
4 But he returned that money to his mother: and his mother took two hundred silver coins, and gave them to the goldsmith, who made her an image of sculpture and foundry, and went to Mica's house.
5 And this man, Micah, had a house of gods: and he made an ephod and teraphins, and consecrated one of his sons, to make him a priest.
6 In those days there was no king in Israel: each did what seemed right in their eyes.
