The Levite at Mica's

7 And there was a young man from Bethlehem of Judah, of the tribe of Judah, who was a Levite and was on a pilgrimage there.

8 And this man left the city of Bethlehem of Judah to make a pilgrimage wherever comfort was found: so he came to the mountain of Ephraim, to the house of Mica, following his path.

9 Micah said to him, Where are you from? And he said to him, I am a Levite from Bethlehem of Judah, and I will go on a pilgrimage wherever I find comfort.

10 Then Micah said to him, Stay with me, and be my father and priest; and I will give you ten pieces of silver and clothing each year and your livelihood. And the Levite came in.

11 And the Levite consented to be with that man: and this young man was like one of his sons.

12 And Micah consecrated to the Levite, and that young man was a priest to him; and was at Mica's.

13 Then said Micah, Now I know that the Lord will do me good, because I have one Levite as a priest.
