40 The seventh lot came out to the tribe of the children of Dan, according to their families.

43 And Elom, and Timnate, and Ecrom,
44 And Eltek, and Gibtom, and Baalat,
45 And Jeúde, and Bene-Beraque ,, Gatrimom,
46 And Mejarcom, and Racom: with the term in front of Jaffo:
47 But the word came out small to the children of Dan: so the children of Dan went up, fought against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it and dwelt in it; and Lesem called Dan, according to the name of Dan their father.
48 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan, according to their families: these cities and their villages.
49 And when they had finished dividing the land as an inheritance according to their terms, they gave the children of Israel to Joshua the son of Nun, an inheritance among them.
50 As the Lord said, they gave him the city he asked for, Timnath-sera, on the mountain of Ephraim: and he rebuilt that city and dwelt in it.
51 These are the inheritances that Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Num, and the heads of the fathers of the families, luckily inherited, shared among the tribes of the children of Israel in Shiloh, before the Lord, at the door of the tent of the congregation. And so they finished dividing the land.
