Exodus 34 The new tablets of the Ten Commandments

Exodus 34
The new tablets of the Ten Commandments
1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee thee two tables of stone like the first; and I will write upon the tables the words that were on the first tablets which you broke.
2 And get ready for tomorrow, so you mount the morning to Mount Sinai, and there stand before me on top of the mountain.
3 And no one go up with thee, and none shall appear in all the mountain; nor sheep, nor oxen feed before the hill.
4 And he hewed two tables of stone like the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up to Mount Sinai, as the Lord had commanded him: and he took the two stone tablets in his hand.
5 And the Lord came down in a cloud and stood there with him, and he proclaimed the name of the Lord.
6 And the Lord passed before his face, and proclaimed, Jehovah, Jehovah, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abundant in goodness and truth;
7 keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; that the guilty have not innocent; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children unto the third and fourth generation.
8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his head to the earth, bowed down,
9 And he said, Lord, if I have found favor in your eyes, now go the Lord in our midst; because this is stiff-necked people; pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance.
