God makes a covenant
10 And he said, Behold, I make a concert; I will before all your people wonders that have never been done in all the earth or among some people: so that all the people among whom thou art shall see the Lord's work; because is a terrible thing to do with you.
11 Observe what I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before you the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
12 Beware that thou covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou shalt go; so it is not a snare among you.
13 But his transtornareis altars, and break their statues, and cut down their groves.
14 For you not bow down in front of another god: for the Lord's name is Jealous: Jealous God is he;
15 Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, not a whoring after their gods, nor sacrifice to their gods, and you invited them, eat of his sacrifice,
16 And take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.
17 Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.
18 The feast of unleavened bread keep him; seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month of Abib: for in the month of Abib you came out of Egypt.
19 All that opens the womb is mine; to all thy cattle that is male opening the womb of cows and sheep;
20 The donkey however, that opens the womb redeem with lamb: but if not redeem, you shall cut his head: All the firstborn of your sons redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.
21 Six days work, but the seventh day you shall rest: in plowing and harvest you shall rest.
22 And the feast of weeks, which is the feast of firstfruits of the wheat harvest, and the harvest of the party at the end of the year.
23 Three times a year every male among you shall appear before the Lord Jehovah, the God of Israel;
24 For I will cast out nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: nobody covet your land when you go up to appear three times a year before the Lord your God.
25 Do not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread, or the Easter feast of sacrifice will be the night to the morning.
26 The first of the first fruits of the land thou shalt bring to the house of the Lord thy God: Thou shalt not seethe a kid in its mother's milk.
27 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made with you and with Israel concert.
28 And he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights: he neither ate bread nor drank water, and wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.
