The holy anointing oil
22 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
23 And thou take unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred cycles, and of sweet cinnamon half so much two hundred and fifty shekels.
24 And of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of olive oil a hin.
25 And thou shalt make it a holy anointing oil, an ointment compound after the perfumer's work: this will be the holy anointing oil.
26 And thou shalt anoint the tent of meeting, and the ark of testimony,
27 And the table and all its vessels, and the candlestick with its vessels, and the altar of incense,
28 And the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels, and the laver and its base.
29 And thou shalt sanctify them, that they may be most holy: whatever touches them shall be holy.
30 And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and sanctify them to me in the priesthood.
31 And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, This will be my holy anointing oil throughout your generations.
32 Do not anoint him in the flesh of man, neither shall ye make any similar as to its composition: it is holy, and shall be holy unto you.
33 The man who compose such a scent as this, or that it put on an outsider, shall be cut off from his people.
