1 मूर्ख ने अपने मन में कहा है, “कोई परमेश्वर नहीं है।” वे भ्रष्ट हो गए हैं और उन्होंने घिनौना अधर्म किया है; कोई भी ऐसा नहीं है जो भलाई करता हो।

1 The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They have become corrupt and have committed abominable iniquity; there is no one who does good.

2 God has looked down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand and seek God.

3 They have all turned away, they have together become filthy; there is no one who does good, no, not one.

4 Do these workers of iniquity not know, who eat up my people as they eat bread? They do not call on God.

5 Behold, they are in great fear, where there was no fear, for God has scattered the bones of him who besieged you; you have put them to shame, for God has rejected them.

6 Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of his people, then Jacob will rejoice and Israel will be glad.

5 Eis que se acharam em grande temor, onde temor não havia, porque Deus espalhou os ossos daquele que te cercava; tu os confundiste, porque Deus os rejeitou.

6 Oh! Se de Sião já viesse a salvação de Israel! Quando Deus fizer voltar os cativos do seu povo, então se regozijará Jacó e se alegrará Israel.

6 धर्मी लोग यह देखकर डरेंगे, और उस पर हंसेंगे।

3 You love evil rather than good, and lies rather than speaking righteously.

4 You love all devouring words, O deceitful tongue.

5 God will also destroy you forever; he will tear you away and uproot you from your dwelling place, and uproot you from the land of the living.

3 For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me.

4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, that you may be justified when you speak and be clear when you judge.

5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.

6 Behold, you desire truth in the inward parts, and in the secret place you make me to know wisdom.

1 The mighty God, the Lord, has spoken and called the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.

2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shined.

3 Our God will come, and will not keep silent; a fire will devour before him, and it will be very tempestuous around him.

4 He will call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

5 Gather my saints together, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

6 And the heavens will declare his righteousness; for God himself is the judge.

7 Hear, my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I, God, your God, will testify against you.

8 I will not rebuke you for your sacrifices or burnt offerings continually before me. 

9 I will not take a calf out of your house, nor a goat out of your pens.

12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.

14 Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High.

15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.

16 But the wicked saith God, What have you to do to recite my statutes, or to take my covenant in your mouth?

17 Since you hate instruction, and cast my words behind you? 

18 When you see a thief, you consent with him, and you are partakers with adulterers.

19 You give your mouth to evil, and your tongue frames deceit.

20 You sit and speak against your brother; you speak evil against your mother's son.

21 These things you have done, and I kept silent; you thought it was up to you; but I will reprove you, and I will set it before your eyes in order.

22 Hear this, then, you who forget God, lest I tear you to pieces, with no one to deliver.

23 Whoever offers praise as a sacrifice glorifies me; and to him who orders his way aright I will show the salvation of God.

18 Quando vês o ladrão, consentes com ele, e tens a tua parte com adúlteros.

19 Soltas a tua boca para o mal, e a tua língua compõe o engano.

20 Assentas-te a falar contra teu irmão; falas mal contra o filho de tua mãe.

21 Estas coisas tens feito, e eu me calei; pensavas que era com tu; mas eu te arguirei, e, em sua ordem, tudo porei diante dos teus olhos.

1 हे सब लोगों, इसे सुनो; हे जगत के सब निवासियों, कान लगाओ।

2 दीन-हीन, महान, धनी-गरीब, सभी।

3 मेरा मुँह बुद्धि की बातें बोलेगा, और मेरे हृदय का ध्यान समझपूर्ण होगा।

4 मैं दृष्टान्त की ओर कान लगाऊँगा; मैं वीणा पर अपनी पहेली का अर्थ समझाऊँगा:

5 बुरे दिनों में मैं क्यों डरूँ, जब मेरे घात में बैठे लोगों का अधर्म मुझे घेर लेता है?

1 Hear this, all you peoples; give ear, all you inhabitants of the world.

2 Both lowly and great, both rich and poor.

3 My mouth will speak wisdom, and the meditation of my heart will be understanding.

4 I will incline my ear to a parable; I will explain my riddle on the harp:

5 Why should I fear in the evil days, when the iniquity of those who lie in wait for me surrounds me?

6 Those who trust in their wealth, and boast in the abundance of their riches,

7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, or give to God a ransom for him.

8 (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and their means would soon fail); 

9 Therefore he will not live forever, or see corruption: 

10 For he sees that wise men die, that the fool and the brutish alike perish, and leave their wealth to others. 

11 Their inward thought is that their houses shall endure forever, and their dwellings to all generations: they give their lands their own names. 

12 Yet man that is in honour abideth not; but is as the beasts that perish. 

13 Their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their words. 

14 They are buried like sheep; death shall feed upon them; and the upright shall rule over them in the morning; and their beauty shall perish in the grave, because there is no more place to dwell. 

15 But God shall redeem my soul from the power of the grave, for he shall receive me.

 16 Fear not when a man becometh rich, when the glory of his house is increased. 

17 For when he dies, he will take nothing with him, nor will his glory follow him.

18 Though he blesses his soul while he lives, and men praise you when you do good to yourself,

19 He will go to the generation of his fathers; they will never see the light.

20 A man who is honored and has no understanding is like the beasts that perish.

4 Inclinarei os meus ouvidos a uma parábola: decifrarei o meu enigma na harpa:

5 Porque temerei eu nos dias maus quando me cercar a iniqüidade dos que me armam ciladas?

15 Mas Deus remirá a minha alma do poder da sepultura, pois me receberá.

16 Não temas, quando alguém se enriquece, quando a glória da sua casa se engrandece.

17 Porque quando morrer, nada levará consigo, nem a sua glória o acompanhará.

18 Ainda que na sua vida ele bendisse a sua alma, e os homens te louvem quando fazes bem a ti mesmo.

The Beauty and Privileges of Zion

1 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, in the city of our God, in his holy mountain.

2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

3 God is known in her palaces as a refuge.

4 For, lo, the kings gathered together; they passed by together.

5 They saw him, and were amazed; they were terrified, and fled in haste.

6 Trembling seized them there, and pains as of a woman in labor.

7 You break the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.

8 As we have heard, so have we seen it in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God. God will establish it forever.

9 We have remembered, O God, your lovingkindness in the midst of your temple.

10 As your name, O God, so is your praise to the ends of the earth; your right hand is full of righteousness.

11 Let Mount Zion rejoice; let the daughters of Judah be glad because of your judgments.

12 Go around Zion; surround her; count her towers;

13 Consider her ramparts; consider her palaces, that you may tell them to the next generation.

14 For this God is our God forever; he will be our guide even to death.

2 Formoso de sítio, e alegria de toda terra é o monte de Sião sobre os lados do norte, a cidade do grande Rei.

3 Deus é conhecido nos seus palácios por um alto refúgio.

4 Porque eis que os reis se ajuntaram: eles passaram juntos.

5 Viram-no, e ficaram maravilhados; ficaram assombrados e se apressaram em fugir.

6 Tremor ali os tomou, e dores como de parturiente.

The Triumph of God's Kingdom

1 Clap your hands, all you peoples; sing to God with a voice of triumph.

2 For the Lord Most High is awesome, a great King over all the earth.

3 He will subdue peoples under us and nations under our feet.

4 He will choose our inheritance for us, the glory of Jacob, whom he loved.

5 God has gone up with shouting, the Lord has gone up with the sound of a trumpet.

6 Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises.

7 For God is King over all the earth; sing praises with understanding.

8 God reigns over the nations; God sits enthroned in his holiness.

9 The princes of the peoples are gathered together to be the people of the God of Abraham; for the shields of the earth are God's; he is exalted above all.
