3 और उस ने अपने दृष्टांत की स्थापना की, और कहा, बीर का पुत्र बिलाम बोल रहा है, और वह आदमी आंखें खोलकर बोला;
15 और उस ने अपने दृष्टांत की स्थापना की, और कहा, बीर का पुत्र बिलाम बोल रहा है, और वह आदमी आंखें खोलकर बोला;
Salmos 40:01

Numbers 24
Numbers 24
1 And when Balaam saw that it seemed good in the sight of the LORD to bless Israel, it was not this time as before the enchantments: but he set his face toward the wilderness.
2 And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and when Israel saw that he dwelt after their tribes, the Spirit of God came upon him.
3 And he set up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor is speaking, and the man speaketh with the eyes open;
4 He that heareth the sayings of God speaketh, who seeth the vision of the Almighty, falling in ecstasy, and with open eyes:
5 How good are your tents, O Jacob! your dwellings, O Israel!
6 As a brook they extend themselves, like gardens by the rivers: as a tree of sandalwood the Lord hath planted them, as cedars by the waters.
7 Out of his buckets shall flow waters, and his seed shall be in many waters: and his king shall be exalted above Agag, and his kingdom shall be lifted up.
8 God brought him out of Egypt; his strength is like that of the unicorn: he will consume the nations, his enemies, and break his bones, and with his arrows he will cross them.
9 He bowed down, and lay down like a lion, and like a lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed are they that bless thee, and cursed them that curse thee.
10 And the anger of Balak was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his palms: and Balak said unto Balaam. To curse mine enemies I have called you; but now you have blessed them three times.
11 Now therefore flee to thy place: I had said that I would honor thee greatly; but behold, the Lord hath deprived thee of this honor.
12 And Balaam said unto Balak, I have not told thy messengers also, that thou hast sent me, saying,
13 Though Balak give me his house full of silver and gold, I can not transgress the commandment of the Lord, doing good or evil in my own heart: whatsoever the Lord shall speak, this shall I speak.
14 Now therefore, behold, I go to my people: Come, I will tell thee what these people shall do unto thy people in the last days.
15 And he set up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor is speaking, and the man speaketh with the eyes open;
16 He that heard the sayings of God, and he that knoweth the knowledge of the most High, hath seen the vision of the Almighty, fallen in ecstasy, and with open eyes.
17 I will see him, but not now; I will look upon it, but not near: a star shall proceed from Jacob, and a scepter shall come up out of Israel, and shall smite the borders of the Moabites, and shall destroy all the children of Seth.
18 And Edom shall be a possession, and Seir shall be a possession inherited for his enemies: for Israel shall do valiantly.
19 And he shall rule over Jacob, and he shall slay the remnant of the cities.
20 And when he saw the Amalekites, he set up his parable, and said, Amalek is the first of the nations: but his end shall be to destruction.
21 And when he saw the Kenites, he set up his parable, and said, It is a dwelling place, and thou hast set thy nest in the rock.
22 And the Kenite shall be consumed, until Asshur shall take thee as a captive.
23 And when he had lifted up his parable, he said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this?
24 And the ships of the coast of the captain shall afflict Asshur; they shall afflict Heder; and he also shall be to perdition.
25 And Balaam arose, and departed, and returned to his place, and Balak also went his way.

3 E alçou a sua parábola, e disse: Fala Balaão, filho de Beor, e fala o homem de olhos abertos;
15 Então alçou a sua parábola, e disse: Fala Balaão, filho de Beor, e fala o homem de olhos abertos;

Numbers 23 The Prophecies of Balaam
Numbers 23
The Prophecies of Balaam
18 And he lifted up his parable, and said, Balak rose up, and hearken, incline thine ear unto me, the son of Zippor.
19 God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should repent: Would he say, and not do it? or speak, and not confirm?
20 Behold, I have received an order to bless; for he hath blessed, and I can not revoke him.
21 He saw no iniquity in Israel, nor beheld wickedness in Jacob: the Lord his God is with him, and in him, and among them is heard the noise of a king.
22 God brought them out of Egypt; his strength is like that of the unicorn.
23 For Jacob is not worthy of enchantment or divination against Israel. At this time it will be said of Jacob and Israel, What things God has done!
24 Behold, the people shall rise up like a lion, and shall be exalted like a lion: he shall not lie down till he eat the prey, and drink the blood of the dead.
25 And Balak said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not utterly curse him, nor utterly bless him.
26 And Balaam answered and said to Balak, Did I not speak to thee, saying, Whatsoever the LORD shall speak, I will do it?
27 Balak said to Balaam, "Come, and I will take you to another place. Will it seem good in the eyes of God to curse you from thence?
28 And Balak took Balaam with him to the top of Peor, which looks toward the desert.
29 And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven calves and seven rams.
30 And Balak did as Balaam had said; and offered a calf and a ram on every altar.

29 Balaão disse a Balaque: Edifica-me aqui sete altares, e prepara-me aqui sete bezerros e sete carneiros.

29 Balaão disse a Balaque: Edifica-me aqui sete altares, e prepara-me aqui sete bezerros e sete carneiros.

Numbers 23 Balak builds seven altars
Numbers 23
Balak builds seven altars
1 And Balaam said to Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven calves and seven rams.
2 And Balak did as Balaam had said, and Balak and Balaam offered a calf and a ram on every altar.
3 And Balaam said unto Balak, Stand by thy burnt-offering, and I will go; the Lord will meet me and I will notify him. Then he went to a halt.
4 And when God was with Balaam, he said to him, I have prepared seven altars, and have offered a calf and a ram on every altar.
5 And the LORD put the word in the mouth of Balaam, and said, Return unto Balak, and speak thus.
6 And turning to him, behold, he stood by his burnt offering, he and all the princes of Moab.
7 And he set up his parable, and said, Aaron sent me to bring Balak king of the Moabites from the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse me to Jacob; and come, hates Israel.
8 How shall I curse what God does not curse? and how shall I detest, when the Lord hates not?
9 For I see him from the top of the rocks, and from the hills I behold him: behold, this people shall dwell alone, and it shall not be numbered among the heathen.
10 Who shall count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? my soul shall die of the death of the righteous, and may my end be as yours.
11 And Balak said to Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I called you to curse my enemies, but behold, you have blessed him.
12 And he answered and said, Shall I not take heed to speak what Jehovah hath put in my mouth?
13 And Balak said unto him, I pray thee, come with me to another place, from whence thou shalt see it; you will see only the last part of it, but you will not see it all; and curse me there.
14 And he took him with him to the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah: and he built seven altars, and offered a calf and a ram on every altar.
15 And he said to Balak, Stand here at the place of your burnt offering, and I will go there to meet you.
16 And when the LORD met Balaam, he put a word in his mouth, and said, Return unto Balak, and speak thus.
17 And when he was come to him, behold, he stood by the burnt-offering, and the princes of the Moabites with him: Balak said unto him, What thing hath Jehovah spoken?

Números 23 Balaque edifica sete altares
Números 23
Balaque edifica sete altares
1 Então Balaão disse a Balaque: Edifica-me aqui sete altares, e prepara-me aqui sete bezerros e sete carneiros.
11 Então disse Balaque a Balaão: Que me fizeste?

16 और वे बिलाम के पास आए, और उस से कहा, इस प्रकार जिप्पोर के पुत्र बल्क को मैं तुझ से मिलाता हूं, मेरे पास आने के लिए धीमे मत हो;
18 और बालाम ने उत्तर दिया और बालक के सेवकों से कहा, यद्यपि बालक ने मुझे अपना घर चाँदी और सोने से भरा दिया है, मैं छोटे या बड़े काम करने के लिए अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा की आज्ञा से आगे नहीं जा सकता;
32 और यहोवा के स्वर्गदूत ने उस से कहा, तू ने तेरह गधे को क्यों मारा? देखो, मैं तुम्हारा विरोधी बनकर जाता हूं, क्योंकि तुम्हारा मार्ग मेरे सामने व्याप्त है;
Numbers 22 Balaque and Balaão
Numbers 22
Balaque and Balaão
1 And the children of Israel departed, and encamped in the plains of Moab, of the border of the Jordan of Jericho.
2 And Balak son of Zippor saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites,
3 And Moab was very afraid before this people, because it was too much; and Moab was distressed for the children of Israel.
4 And Moab said to the elders of Midian, Now this congregation shall lick all that is round about us, as the ox licks the grass of the field. At that time Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites.
5 And he sent messengers to Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which is by the river in the land of the sons of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, a people is come out of Egypt; behold, he covereth the face of the earth, and standing before me.
6 Come now, now, I beseech you, curse me this people, for I am mightier than I; to see if I can hurt, and cast him out of the ground: for I know that whom thou shalt bless, and whom thou cursest shall be cursed.
7 And the elders of the Moabites and the elders of the Midianites went up with the price of the spices in their hands. And they came to Balaam and told him the words of Balak.
8 And he said unto them, Come over here this night, and I will bring the answer unto you, as the LORD spake unto me: and the princes of the Moabites stayed with Balaam.
9 And God came to Balaam, and said, Who are these men that are with thee?
10 And Balaam said unto God, Balak the son of Zippor, king of the Moabites, sent us saying,
11 Behold, the people that came out of Egypt have covered the face of the earth: come now, curse me; I will fight against him, and I will cast him out.
12 And God said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not go with them, neither shalt thou curse this people, because they are blessed.
13 Then Balaam arose in the morning, and said to the princes of Balak, Go your land, for the LORD refuses to let me go with you.
14 And the princes of the Moabites arose, and came to Balak, and said, Balaam refused to come with us.
15 But Balak went on to send more princes, and more honorable than them.
16 And they came to Balaam, and said unto him, Thus saith Balak the son of Zippor, I beseech thee, be not slow to come unto me,
17 For I will greatly honor thee, and will do all that thou say unto me: Come, I beseech thee, curse me this people.
18 And Balaam answered and said to the servants of Balak, Though Balak gave me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the commandment of the LORD my God, to do small or great;
19 Now therefore, I beseech thee, be ye here also tonight, that I may know what the Lord shall say unto me more.
20 And the LORD came to Balaam by night, and said unto him, If these men have come to thee to call, rise up, go with them; Yet you will do as I say.
21 And Balaam arose in the morning, and saddled his ass, and went with the princes of Moab.
22 And the wrath of God was kindled, because he was gone: and the angel of the Lord stood in the way for an adversary: and he went on his ass, and two of his young men with him.
23 And the ass saw the angel of the LORD standing by the way, with his sword unbleached in his hand; and the ass went aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the ass, and brought her to the way.
24 But the angel of the Lord stood in a path of vineyards, one wall of the wall and one wall of the other.
25 And when the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she pressed herself against the wall, and pressed the foot of Balaam against the wall. so he beat her again.
26 Then the angel of the Lord passed on, and stood in a narrow place, where there was no way to turn aside to the right hand or to the left.
27 And the ass saw the angel of the Lord lying down under Balaam: and the anger of Balaam was kindled, and he beat the ass with the staff.
28 And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and said to Balaam, What have I done to thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?
29 And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: for I had had a sword in my hand, for now I would slay thee.
30 And the ass said to Balaam, Am I not thy donkey, in which thou hast ridden from the time that I was thine until this day? Did I ever do this to you? And he answered: No.
31 And the Lord opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way, and his sword unblemished in his hand: and he bowed his head, and fell on his face.
32 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Why hast thou smitten thine ass thrice? Behold, I go out to be your adversary, because your way is perverse before me;
33 But the ass saw me, and turned three times from before me: if she had not turned aside from me, in the truth that I had now slain thee, and had left her alive.
34 And Balaam said unto the angel of the LORD, I have sinned, that I knew not that thou wast in this way, to oppose me; and now, if it seem evil to you, I will become.
35 And the angel of the Lord said to Balaam, "Go with these men, but only the word that I speak to you will speak." So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.
36 And when Balak heard that Balaam was coming, he went out to meet him, even unto the city of Moab, which is in the border of Arnon, at the border of his border.
37 And Balak said unto Balaam, Have I not I sent diligently to call thee? Why did you not come to me? can I not in truth honor thee?
38 And Balaam said to Balak, Behold, I have come to you; Can I now somehow say something? The word that God puts in my mouth I will speak.
39 And Balaam went with Balak, and they came to Kirjathhuzoth.
40 And Balak slew oxen and sheep; and he sent them to Balaam and to the princes who were with him.
41 And it came to pass in the morning, that Balak took Balaam, and brought him up into the high places of Baal, and he saw the last part of the people from thence.
18 And Balaam answered and said to the servants of Balak, Though Balak gave me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the commandment of the LORD my God, to do small or great;
19 Now therefore, I beseech thee, be ye here also tonight, that I may know what the Lord shall say unto me more.
32 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Why hast thou smitten thine ass thrice? Behold, I go out to be your adversary, because your way is perverse before me;
33 But the ass saw me, and turned three times from before me: if she had not turned aside from me, in the truth that I had now slain thee, and had left her alive.

18 Então Balaão respondeu, e disse aos servos de Balaque: Ainda que Balaque me desse a sua casa cheia de prata e de ouro , eu não poderia transpassar o mandato do Senhor meu Deus, para fazer coisa pequena ou grande;
32 Então o anjo do Senhor lhe disse: Por que três vezes espancaste a tua jumenta? Eis que eu sai para ser teu adversário, porquanto o teu caminho é perverso diante de mim;

Numbers 21 The Israelites smite the kings of Moab and Bashan.
Numbers 21
The Israelites smite the kings of Moab and Bashan.
20 And from Bamoth to the valley that is in the field of Moab, on the top of Pisgah, and in the sight of the wilderness.
21 And Israel sent messengers to Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,
22 Let me pass through your land, we will not turn aside in the fields or in the vineyards, we will not drink the water of the wells; we will go on the royal road until we have passed over your borders.
23 But Sihon did not let Israel pass through his borders; and Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the wilderness, and came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel.
24 And Israel smote him with the edge of the sword, and took possession of his land from Arnon to Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon: for the border of the children of Ammon was sure.
25 And Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all their villages.
26 For Heshbon was the city of Sihon king of the Amorites, who had fought against the king of Moab, and had taken all his land out of his hand in Arnon.
27 Therefore say they that speak in proverbs, Come to Heshbon; let the city of Sihon be built and fortified.
28 For fire is gone out from Heshbon, and a flame from the city of Sihon; and consumed the air of the Moabites, and the lords of the high places of the Arnon.
29 Woe to you, Moab! you are lost, people of Camos! And he gave his sons that fled, and his daughters, as captives unto Sihon king of the Amorites.
30 And we have cast it down: and Heshbon is lost unto Dibon, and we smite them unto Noph, which is as far as Medeba.
31 So Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.
32 And Moses commanded to spy out Jahzer, and they took their villages, and cast out the Amorites that were there from the possession thereof.
33 And they turned and went up the way to Bashan; and Og king of Bashan went out against them, he and all his people, to battle in Edrei.
34 And the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered thee into his hand, and to all his people, and to his land, and thou shalt do to him as thou hast done to Sihon king of the Amorites , who dwelt in Heshbon.
35 And they smote him and his sons, and all his people, so that none of them escaped: and they took their land for a possession.

Journeys of the Israelites
10 And the children of Israel journeyed, and lodged in Oboth.
11 And they departed from Obote, and dwelt in the hills of Abarim, in the wilderness that is before Moab, at the rising of the sun.
12 And they departed, and dwelt by the brook Zered.
13 And they departed from thence, and dwelt in this band of the Arnon, which is in the wilderness, and cometh out of the borders of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.
14 Therefore it is written in the book of the wars of the LORD: Against Vaebe in Sufah, and against the brooks of Arnon,
15 And against the stream of the brooks, which turneth unto the plight of Ar, and leaneth against the borders of Moab.
16 And from thence they departed unto Beer; this is the well of which the Lord said unto Moses, Gather the people together, and I will give them water.
17 And Israel sang this song, Go up, and sing, and sing:
18 Your well, which the princes have digged, who dig up the nobles of the people, and the ruler with their staff.) And they departed from the wilderness to Matana;
19 And from Matana to Nahaliel; and from Nahaliel to Bamoth;

8 तब यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, एक सर्प बना, और उसे एक डंडे पर बिठाया;

The Burning Serpents and the Metal Serpent
4 And they departed from the mount Hor, by the way of the Red Sea, to compass the land of Edom: but the soul of the people was distressed in this way.
5 And the people spake against God and against Moses, Why did you bring us up out of Egypt, that we should die in this wilderness? for here neither bread nor water is there; and our soul hath bored this vile bread.
6 And the Lord sent among the people fiery serpents, which bit the people; and many people of Israel died.
7 And the people came unto Moses, and said, We have sinned, because we have spoken against Jehovah, and against thee; Pray to the Lord that he take these serpents from us. Then Moses prayed for the people.
8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make an ardent serpent, and set it upon a rod: and it shall be, that every bitten thing that looketh upon it shall live.
9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a rod: and it was that, biting some serpent upon some man, he looked upon the serpent of brass, and it was alive.
