1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying unto them,
2 Speak to the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts, which ye shall eat of all the beasts that are upon the earth:
3 And he that hath cleft nails, and the clefts of his nails he divideth in two, and he maketh among the beasts what ye shall eat.
4 Of these ye shall not eat, of them that glean, or of that which hath cleft nails: the camel, which mourneth but hath not cleft nails, it shall be unclean unto you;
5 And the rabbit, because he mourns, but he does not have cleft nails, he will be unclean to you.
6 And the hare, because he mourneth, and hath not nails broken, it shall be unclean unto you.
7 And the pig, because he hath cleft nails, and the cleft of his nails divideth in two, but he maketh no morsel; It shall be unclean unto you.
8 Ye shall not eat of his flesh, neither shall ye touch his carcase: they shall be unclean unto you.
9 This ye shall eat of all that is in the waters, all that hath fins and scales in the waters; In the seas and rivers; You shall eat it.
10 But whatsoever hath no fins, no scales, in the seas and in the rivers, every creeping thing of the waters, and every living creature that is in the waters, these shall be an abomination unto you.
11 And they shall be to you for an abomination: ye shall not eat of their flesh, and their abomination ye shall hate.
12 Everything that has no fins or scales in the water will be an abomination to you.
13 And of the birds ye shall abhor: they shall not be eaten, they shall be an abomination: the eagle, and the brethren, and the xofrango,
14 And the heathen, and the vulture after his kind,
15 All the ravens after their kind,
16 And the ostrich, and the owl, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after his kind,
17 And the bufo, and the raven, and the owl,
18 And the king, and the swan, and the pelican,
19 And the stork, the heron after its kind, and the sparrow, and the bat.
20 Every flying thing that walketh upon four feet shall be an abomination unto you.
21 But this you shall eat of every flying thing that walks on four feet; Let him have legs on his feet, to leap with them upon the earth.
22 And of them shall ye eat: the locust after their kind, and they shall beat it after their kind, and the harpol after their kind, and the hagbe after their kind.
23 And every flying thing that hath four feet shall be an abomination unto you,
24 And by these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth their carcases shall be unclean until the even.
25 Whosoever bringeth forth his carcasses shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
26 Every animal that has cleft nails, but the cleft divides not two, and every one that does not mourn shall be unclean to you: whosoever toucheth them shall be unclean.
27 And every one that walketh on his feet, every beast that walketh on the four feet, shall be unclean unto you: whosoever toucheth his carcases shall be unclean until the even.
28 And he that taketh away their carcasses shall wash their clothes, and be unclean until the even: they shall be unclean unto you.
29 These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth: the weasel, and the rat, and the tortoise after his kind,
30 And the hedgehog, the lizard, and the larboard, and the slug, and the mole.
31 These shall be unclean unto you among all the creeping things; Whoever touches them while they are dead shall be unclean until the evening.
32 And whosoever shall slay them shall be unclean; Whether it be a vessel of wood, or a garment, or skin, or sack, or any instrument, wherewith any work is done, shall be put into the water, and be unclean until the evening; Then it shall be clean.
33 And every clay vessel in which any of them falls, whatever is in it shall be unclean, and you shall break the vessel.
34 All the food that is eaten, on which such water comes, shall be unclean; And every drink that is drunk in every vessel shall be unclean.
35 And the thing upon which any of his dead body shall fall shall be unclean: the furnace and the earthen vessel shall be broken; They are unclean; therefore they shall be unclean unto you.
36 But the fountain or cistern, in which waters are gathered up, shall be clean; but he that toucheth their carcass shall be unclean.
37 And if any of his dead bodies fall on any sowing seed, it shall be clean;
38 But if water is poured on the seed, and if any of the carcass falls on it, it shall be unclean to you.
39 And if any of the beasts that serve as food die, whoever touches his carcass shall be unclean until evening;
40 And he that eateth of his carcase shall wash his garments, and be unclean until the evening; And that he shall bring his dead body, and shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
41 And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; It shall not be eaten.
42 Whosoever walketh upon the belly, and every one that goeth on four feet, or that hath more feet, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, ye shall not eat: for they are an abomination.
43 Do not make your souls abominable by any creeping thing that creeps, nor pollute yourselves in them, lest you be unclean by them;
44 For I am the Lord your God: therefore ye shall sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy: for I am holy; And you shall not defile your souls by any reptile which Creeps on the earth;
45 For I am the Lord, that I bring you up out of the land of Egypt, that I may be your God, and that ye may be holy; For I am holy.
 46 This is the law of the beasts, and of the birds, and of every living soul that moves in the waters, and every soul that creepeth upon the earth: 47 To make a difference between the unclean and the clean; And between the animals that can be eaten and the animals that can not be eaten.

4 Destes porém não comereis, dos que remoem ou dos que tem unhas fendidas: o camelo, que remói mas não tem unhas fendidas este vos será imundo;
5 E o coelho, porque remói, mas não tem unhas fendidas, este vos será imundo.
6 E a lebre, porque remói, mas não tem as unhas fendidas, esta vos será imunda.
7 Também o porco, porque tem unhas fendidas, e a fenda das unhas divide em duas, mas não remói; este vos será imundo.
8 Da sua carne não comereis, nem tocareis no seu cadáver, estes vos serão imundos.
9 Isto comereis de tudo o que há nas águas, tudo o que tem barbatanas e escamas nas águas; nos mares e nos rios; aquilo comereis.
10 Mas tudo o que não tem barbatanas nem escamas, nos mares e nos rios, todo réptil das águas, e toda a alma vivente que há nas águas, estes serão para vós abominação.
11 Ser-vos-ão pois por abominação: da sua carne não comereis, e abominareis o seu cadáver.
12 Tudo o que não tem barbatanas ou escamas, nas águas, será para vós abominação.
13 E das aves estas abominareis: não se comerão, serão abominação: a águia, e o quebrantosso, e o xofrango,

33 E todo o vaso de barro, em que cair alguma coisa deles, tudo o que houver nele será imundo, e o vaso quebrareis.
34 Todo o manjar que se comer, sobre que vier tal água, será imundo; e toda bebida que se bebe, em todo o vaso, será imunda.
35 E aquilo sobre o que cair alguma coisa de seu corpo morto, será imundo: o forno e o vaso de barro serão quebrados; imundos são: portanto vos serão por imundos.
36 Porém a fonte ou cisterna, em que se recolhem águas, será limpa, mas quem tocar no seus cadáver será imundo.
37 E, se dos seus cadaveres cair alguma coisa sobre alguma semente de semear, esta será limpa;
38 Mas se for deitada água sobre a semente, e se dos cadáveres cair alguma coisa sobre ela, vos será por imunda.
39 E se morrer algum  dos animais, que vos servem de mantimento, quem tocar no seu cadáver será imundo até à tarde;
40 E quem comer do seu cadáver lavará os seus vestidos, e será imundo até à tarde; e quel levar o seu corpo morto lavará os seus vestidos, e será imundo até à tarde.
41 Também todo o réptil, que se arrasta sobre a terra, será abominação; não se comerá.
42 Tudo que anda sobre o ventre, e tudo que anda sobre quatro pés, ou que tem mais pés, entre todo réptil que se arrasta sobre a terra, não comereis, porquanto são uma abominação.
43 Não façais as vossas almas abomináveis por nenhum réptil que se arrasta, nem neles vos contamineis, para não serdes imundos por eles;
44 Porque eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus: portanto vós vos santificareis, e sereis santos, porque eu sou santo; e não contaminareis as vossas almas por nenhum réptil que se arrasta sobre a terra;
45 Porque eu sou o Senhor que vos faço subir da terra do Egito, para que eu seja vosso Deus, e para que sejais santos; porque eu sou santo.

13 Therefore ye shall eat it in the holy place; For this is thy portion, and the portion of thy children's offerings, which are burnt with the LORD: for so I was commanded.
14 And the breast of the wave offering, and the shoulder of the wave offering, shall ye eat in a clean place, thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee; For they were given for thy portion, and for the portion of thy children, for the peace offerings of the children of Israel.

19 And Aaron said unto Moses, Behold, this day they have offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD, and these things have befallen me: if I had eaten the atonement of sin this day, would it be accepted in the sight of the LORD?
20 And when Moses heard it, it was accepted in his sight.

6 And Moses said to Aaron and to his sons Eleazar and Ithamar, Ye shall not uncover your heads, nor rend your garments, lest ye die, neither shall there come a great indignation upon all the congregation: but your brethren, all the house of Israel, Lament this fire which the Lord has kindled.
7 Neither shalt ye go forth out of the congregation, lest ye die; For the oil of the Lord's anointing is upon you. And they did according to the word of Moses.
8 And the LORD spake unto Aaron, saying,
9 You shall not drink wine or strong drink, and your sons with you shall not drink when you enter the tabernacle of the congregation, lest you die: it shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations;
10 And to make the difference between the holy and the profane, and between the unclean and the clean,
11 And to teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.

3 And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Take a kid of the goats for a sin offering, and a calf, and a lamb of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering.
4 And an ox and a ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD, and a meat offering, mixed with oil: for this day the LORD shall appear unto you.
5 And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the congregation came, and stood before the LORD.
6 And Moses said, This thing which Jehovah hath commanded ye do: and the glory of the Lord shall appear unto you.
7 And Moses said unto Aaron, Come near to the altar, and make thy atonement for sin, and thy burnt offering; And make atonement for thee and for the people; and afterward make the people's offering, and make atonement for them, as the LORD hath commanded.
8 Then Aaron came to the altar and slaughtered the calf of the atonement that was for him.
9 And the sons of Aaron brought the blood, and dipped his finger in the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar. And the rest of the blood poured out at the foot of the altar.
10 But the fat, and the kidneys, and the remnant of the sin-offering of the liver, burned upon the altar, as the LORD commanded Moses.

13 And they gave him the burnt offering in his pieces, with his head; And burned it upon the altar.
14 And he washed the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar.

20 And they put the fat on the breasts, and he burned the fat on the altar;
21 But Aaron's breast and shoulder, Aaron's right moved for a wave offering before the Lord, as Moses had commanded.
22 And Aaron lifted up his hands to the people, and blessed them, and went down, and made the atonement for sin, and the burnt offering, and the peace offering.
23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation: and they went forth, and blessed the people; And the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people,
24 For the fire went out from before Yahweh, and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar: and when all the people saw it, they jumped and fell on their faces.

31 And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto his sons, Bake the flesh before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and there eat with the bread which is in the basket of the consecration, as I have commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat thereof.
32 But what is left of the flesh and of the bread, ye shall burn with fire.
33 And thou shalt not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the congregation seven days, until the day that the consecration of the day is fulfilled: for he shall consecrate them seven days.
34 As it was done on that day, so says the Lord, if he did, to make atonement for you.
35 And I will stand at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night for seven days, and you shall keep the charge of the LORD, that you die not: for so it was commanded me.

29 E tomou Moisés o peito, e moveu-o por oferta de movimento perante o Senhor: aquela foi a porção de Moisés do carneiro da consagração, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.
30 Tomou Moisés também do azeite da unção, e do sangue que estava sobre o altar, e o espargiu sobre Aarão e sobre os seus vestidos, e sobre os seus filhos, e sobre os vestidos de seus filhos com ele; e santificou a Aarão e os seus vestidos, e seus filhos, e os vestidos de seus filhos com ele.
31 E Moisés disse a Aarão, e a seus filhos: Cozei a carne diante da porta da tenda da congregação, e ali a comei com o pão que está no cesto da consagração, como tenho ordenado, dizendo: Aarão e seus filhos a comerão.
32 Mas o que sobejar da carne e do pão, queimareis com fogo.
33 Também da porta da tenda da congregação não saireis por sete dias, até ao dia em que se cumprirem os dias da vossa consagração: porquanto por sete dias ele vos consagrará.
34 Como se fez nesse dia, assim diz o Senhor ordenou se fizesse, para fazer expiação por vós.
35 Ficarei pois à porta da tenda da congregação dia e noite por sete dias, e fareis a guarda do Senhor, para que não morrais: porque assim me foi ordenado.
36 E Aarão e seus filhos fizeram todas as coisas que o Senhor ordenou pela mão de Moisés.

28 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
29 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whoever shall offer the LORD his peace-offerings, he shall bring his offering unto the LORD out of his peace-offerings.
30 Their own hands will bring the burnt offerings to the Lord; The fat of the breast with the breast will bring to move it by an offering before the Lord.
31 And the priest shall burn the fat on the altar, but the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons'.
32 And you shall give the right shoulder to the priest for a heave-offering of your peace-offerings.
33 He of the sons of Aaron, which shall offer the blood of the peace-offerings, and the fat, he shall have the right shoulder by his portion;
34 For I have taken the breast and the shoulder-bone of the children of Israel out of their peace offerings, and have given them to Aaron the priest, and to his sons, by a statute forever of the children of Israel.
35 This is the portion of Aaron and the portion of his sons from the burnt offerings of the LORD in the day that he presented them to minister the priesthood of the Lord.
36 What the Lord commanded to be given to them of the children of Israel in the day that he anointed them, is a perpetual statute for their generations.
37 This is the law of the burnt offering, and of the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering, and the offering of consecration, and the sacrifice of peace offerings,
38 That the LORD commanded Moses on Mount Sinai in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their offerings to the LORD in the wilderness of Sinai.

28 Falou mais o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo:
29 Fala aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: Quem oferecer ao Senhor o seu sacrifício pacífico, trará a sua oferta ao Senhor do seu sacrifício pacífico.
30 As suas próprias mãos trarão as ofertas queimadas ao Senhor; a gordura do peito com o peito trará para movê-lo por oferta movida perante o Senhor.
31 E o sacerdote queimará a gordura sobre o altar, porém o peito será de Aarão e de seus filhos.

36 O que o Senhor ordenou que se lhes desse dentre os filhos de Israel no dia em que os ungiu, estatuto perpétuo é pelas suas gerações.
37 Esta é a lei do holocausto, da oferta de manjares, e da expiação do pecado, e da expiação da culpa, e da oferta das consagrações, e do sacrifício pacífico,

God forbids eating the fat and blood
22 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
23 Speak to the children of Israel, saying, Let no fat of ox, nor of ram, nor of goat eat,
24 But the fat of the dead body, and the fat of the broken one, may be used for all the work, but you shall not eat it at all;
25 For whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, wherewith he shall offer the LORD a burnt offering, the person that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.
26 And ye shall eat no blood in any of your dwellings, whether of the fowl or of the cattle.
27 Anyone who eats any blood, that person shall be cut off from his people.

24 Porém pode usar-se da gordura do corpo morto, e da gordura do dilacerado, para toda a obra, mas de nenhuma maneira a comereis;
25 Porque qualquer que comer a gordura do animal, do qual se oferecer ao Senhor oferta queimada, a pessoa que a comer será extirpada dos seus povos.
26 E nenhum sangue comereis em qualquer das vossas habitações, quer de ave quer de gado.
27 Toda a pessoa que comer algum sangue, aquela pessoa será extirpada dos seus povos.
