Judges 15
Samson injures a thousand men with a donkey's jawbone
14 And when the Philistines came to Lequi to him, they went out to meet him, rejoicing: but the spirit of the Lord mightily came upon him, and the cords which were in his arms became like threads of linen which are burned with fire, and the his bonds have been released from his hands.
15 And he found a fresh donkey's jawbone, and stretched out his hand, and took it, and struck a thousand men with it.
16 Then Samson said, With a donkey's jawbone, a heap, two heaps: with a donkey's jawbone I struck a thousand men.
17 And it came to pass, when he had finished speaking, that he released the jawbone of his hand: and called that place Ramate-Lequi.
18 And when he was very thirsty, he cried out to the Lord, and said, By the hand of your servant you have given this great salvation: will I now die of thirst, and will fall into the hand of these uncircumcised?
19 Then the Lord broke the cave in Lequi; and water came out of it, and drank; and his spirit returned, and was revived: for what he called his name: The source of what cries, which is in Lequi to this day.
20 And he judged Israel in the days of the Philistines twenty years.
