Deuteronomy 33
The blessings of the tribes
6 Let Reuben live, and die not, and let his men be numerous.
7 And this is what I said of Judah; And he said, Hear, O LORD, the voice of Judah, and bring it into his people: his hands shall suffice him, and thou shalt be a help against his enemies.
8 And from Levi he said, Thy thumm and thy Urim are to thy beloved, whom thou hast tried in Massah, with whom thou contended in the waters of Meribah.
9 He who said to his father and mother, I never saw him; and he knew not his brethren, and esteemed not his children: for they kept thy word, and kept thy covenant.
10 They taught your judgments to Jacob and your law to Israel; they put incense on your nose, and the burnt offering on your altar.
11 Bless his might, O LORD, and the work of his hands pleases you: strike the loins of those who rise up against him, and hate him, that they never rise again.
12 And he said of Benjamin, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell safely with him: he shall cover him all day, and dwell among his shoulders.
13 And Joseph said, Blessed be the LORD his land, with the most excellent of the heavens, with the dew, and with the deep that is beneath.
14 And with the most excellent news of the sun, and with the most excellent productions of the moon,
15 And with the most excellent of the ancient mountains, and with the most excellent of the everlasting hills,
16 And with the most excellent of the earth, and with the fulness thereof, and the goodwill of him that dwelt in the bush, the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
17 He has the glory of the firstborn of his ox, and its ends are the ends of the unicorn: he will smite the peoples with them to the ends of the earth. These are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and these are the thousands of Manasseh.
18 And from Zebulun said, Zebulun, rejoice in thy exits; and you, Issachar, in your tents.
19 They shall call the peoples to the mount: there they shall offer offerings of righteousness, for they shall suck in the abundance of the seas, and the treasures hid from the sand.
20 And out of Gad he said, Blessed is he who makes Gad dilate; it dwells like a lioness, and shatters the arm and the top of the head.
21 And the first part was provided, because the portion of the lawgiver was hidden there: therefore he came with the chiefs of the people, and executed the righteousness of the LORD, and his judgments unto Israel.
22 And he said of Dan, Dan is a little lion; will leap from Bashan.
23 And he said of Naphtali, O Naphthali, be filled with kindness, and be filled with the blessing of the LORD; own west and noon.
24 And from Asher said, Blessed be Asher with his sons, please his brethren, and bathe his foot in oil.
25 Iron and metal shall be your shoes: and your strength shall be as your days.
26 There is no other, O Jesurum, like God! who rides on the heavens for your help, and with his highness on the highest clouds.
27 Let the everlasting God be unto thee for a habitation, and beneath him be everlasting arms: and let him cast the enemy from before thee, and say, Destroy him.
28 And Israel shall dwell safely in the land of the well of Jacob, in the land of grain and wine: and the heavens shall drip with dew.
29 Blessed are you, O Israel! who is like you? a people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and the sword of thy highness: by which thy enemies shall be subject unto thee, and thou shalt tread on their high places.
