The Book of the Prophet Hosea 2

The Book of the Prophet Hosea 2

1 Say to your brothers, ‘Ammi,’ and to your sisters, ‘Ruhamah.’

2 Contend with your mother, contend with her, for she is not my wife, and I am not her husband; let her put away her whoredoms from her face and her adulteries from between her breasts.

3 Lest I leave her naked, and expose her as on the day she was born, and make her like a desert, and set her like a dry land, and kill her with thirst,

4 And have no pity on her children, for they are children of whoredoms.

5 For their mother is a whore; she who conceived them has acted shamefully, for she says, ‘I will go after my lovers, who give me my bread and my water, my wool and my linen, my oil and my drink.’

6 Therefore, behold, I will hedge up your way with thorns; And I will raise a wall of barrier so that she cannot find her paths.

7 She will pursue her lovers, but she will not overtake them; she will seek them, but she will not find them. Then she will say, “I will go back to my first husband, for then it was better for me than now.”

8 She does not realize that I gave her the grain, the new wine, and the oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, which they used for Baal.

9 Therefore, I will return and take away my grain in its season and my new wine in its appointed time; and I will take away my wool and my linen, which covered her nakedness.

10 And now I will expose her wickedness in the sight of her lovers, and no one will deliver her from my hand.

11 And I will cause all her mirth to cease, her feasts, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her appointed feasts.

12 And I will destroy her vine and her fig tree, of which she says, “This is the wages that my lovers have given me”; therefore I will make them a forest, and the wild beasts of the field shall devour them.

13 And I will punish her for the days of Baal, when she burned incense to it, and adorned herself with her earrings and her necklaces, and went after her lovers, but forgot me, says the Lord.

14 Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.

15 And I will give her her vineyards from there, and the valley of Achor as a door of hope; and there she shall sing, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.

16 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord, that thou shalt call me, My husband; and shalt call me no more, My Baal.

17 And I will remove the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and their names shall no more be remembered.

18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of the air, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will remove the bow, and the sword, and war from the earth, and will make them lie down safely.

19 And I will betroth thee unto me for ever: I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in tender mercies.

20 And I will betroth thee unto me in faithfulness; and thou shalt know the Lord.

21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will answer, saith the Lord, I will answer the heavens, and they shall answer the earth.

22 And the earth shall respond to the grain, and to the new wine, and to the oil; and these shall respond to Jezreel.

23 And I will sow her for myself in the land, and have compassion on Lo-Ruhamah; and I will say to Lo-Ammi, “You are my people,” and he shall say, “You are my God!”

O livro do profeta Oséias 02

1 Dizei a vossos irmãos: Ami; e a vossas irmãs: Ruama.

Hosea's symbolic marriage; idolatry and corruption in Israel; threats and promises of forgiveness

1 The word of the Lord that came to Hosea son of Beeri in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam son of Joash, king of Israel.

2 The beginning of the word of the Lord through Hosea: The Lord said to Hosea, “Go, take for yourself a wife of whoredom and children of whoredom, for the land commits great whoredom by forsaking the Lord.”

3 So he went and took Gomer daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore him a son.

4 Then the Lord said to him, “Name him Jezreel, for in a little while I will punish the house of Jehu for the blood of Jezreel, and I will put an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel.”

5 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.

6 And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And he said, Call her Lo-Ruhamah: for I will no more have compassion on the house of Israel, but will take them all away from them.

7 But I will have compassion on the house of Judah, and will save them by the Lord their God: not by bow, nor by sword, nor by war, nor by horses, nor by horsemen.

8 And after he had weaned Lo-Ruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son.

9 And he said, Call him Lo-Ammi: for ye are not my people, neither will I be your God.

10 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered: and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are the children of the living God.

11 And the children of Judah and the children of Israel shall be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land; for great shall be the day of Jezreel.

O livro do profeta Oséias 01

The Last Days: The Sealed Words

1 At that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered.

2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: one to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will go here and there, and knowledge will increase.

5 I, Daniel, looked, and there were two others standing there, one on this bank of the river and the other on that bank of the river.

6 Then he said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long will it be until the end of these wonders?”

7 I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he lifted up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives forever that after a time, times, and half a time, and when the power of the holy people has been completely destroyed, all these things will be fulfilled.

8 I heard, but I did not understand. So I said, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these things?”

9 Then he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for these words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.

10 Many will be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked will continue to act wickedly. No wicked person will understand, but those who are wise will understand.

11 From the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.

12 Blessed is he who waits and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.

13 But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and then at the end of the days you shall rise to receive your allotted inheritance.

The Book of the Prophet Daniel 11 The Medo-Persian empire will be destroyed by the king of Greece: the kingdom will be divided into four. War between the king of the south and the king of the north

The Book of the Prophet Daniel 11

The Medo-Persian empire will be destroyed by the king of Greece: the kingdom will be divided into four.

War between the king of the south and the king of the north

1 In the first year of Darius the Mede, I stood up to encourage and strengthen him.

2 And now I will tell you the truth: Behold, three more kings will arise in Persia, and the fourth will be richer than all the others; and with his riches he will stir up everyone against the kingdom of Greece.

3 Then a mighty king will arise, who will rule with great dominion and do as he pleases.

4 But when he is established, his kingdom will be broken and divided toward the four winds of heaven, but not to his descendants, nor to the second power with which he reigned; for his kingdom will be uprooted and given to others.

5 Then the king of the south and one of his princes will become strong; And this one will become stronger than he, and he will reign, and his dominion will be great.

6 But after some years they will make an alliance; and the daughter of the king of the south will come to the king of the north to make a treaty; but she will not retain the strength of her arm; nor will he persist, nor his arm, because she will be given up, and those who brought her, and her father, and he who strengthened her in those times.

7 But from the shoot of her roots one will arise in her place, and he will come with an army, and he will enter the fortresses of the king of the north, and he will act against them, and he will prevail.

8 And also his gods with the multitude of their images, with their precious vessels of silver and gold, he will carry away captive to Egypt; and for some years he will persist against the king of the north.

9 And he will enter the kingdom of the king of the south, and return to his own land.

10 But his sons will intervene and gather a great number of armies; one of them will come swiftly, and will flood through and pass through; and returning, he will carry the war to his stronghold.

11 Then the king of the south will be enraged, and will go out and fight against him, against the king of the north; he will put a great multitude in the field, and the multitude will be delivered into his hand.

12 And when the multitude increases, his heart will be lifted up; but though he will overthrow many thousands, he will not prevail.

13 For the king of the north will return and put a greater multitude in the field than the first, and after a time, that is, years, he will come swiftly with a great army and with much wealth.

14 And in those days many will rise up against the king of the south; and the sons of the transgressors of your people will rise up to confirm the vision; but they will fall.

15 And the king of the north shall come, and shall raise up siege works, and shall take the fortified city; and the arms of the south shall not be able to stand, nor his chosen people: for there shall be no strength that shall stand.

16 He that shall come against him shall do according to his will; and none shall be able to stand before him: and he shall be in the glorious land; and by his hand shall destruction be wrought.

17 And he shall set his face to come with the strength of all his kingdom, and with him the righteous, and shall do as he pleaseth: and he shall give him a daughter of women, to corrupt her: but she shall not stand, nor shall she be for him.

18 Then shall he turn his face toward the islands, and shall take many: and a prince shall cause his reproach to cease from him, and shall even cause his reproach to return upon him.

19 Then he will turn his face toward the strongholds of his own land, but he will stumble and fall, and will not be found.

20 And in his place will arise one who will send a tax collector through the royal glory; but in a few days he will be broken, and this without anger or battle.

21 Afterward a vile man will arise in his place, to whom they had not given royal dignity; but he will come quietly and seize the kingdom by deceit.

22 And with the arms of a flood they will be swept away from before him; and they will be broken, as will the prince of the covenant.

23 And after the covenant with him, he will act deceitfully; and he will rise and be strengthened with a small number of people.

24 He will also come quietly to the most fertile places of the province, and will do what neither his fathers nor his fathers' fathers did; 24 He will divide the plunder and spoils and wealth among them, and he will devise plans against the strongholds, but only for a time.

25 He will stir up his power and his heart against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south will engage in war with a great and very powerful army; but he will not prevail, because they will devise plans against him.

26 Those who eat his delicacies will crush him; his army will be poured out, and many will fall slain.

27 These two kings will also have their hearts set on doing evil, and they will speak lies at the same table; but it will not prosper, for the end will come at the appointed time.

28 Then he will return to his land with great wealth, and his heart will be against the holy covenant; he will do as he pleases and return to his land.

29 At the appointed time he will come again against the south; but the latter time will not be like the former.

30 For ships of Kittim will come against him, bringing him grief; and he will return and be indignant against the holy covenant, and will do as he pleases; and he will return and heed those who have forsaken the holy covenant.

31 And arms will come out against him, who will profane the sanctuary and the fortress, and will take away the daily sacrifice, and will set up the abomination that causes desolation.

32 And those who violate the covenant he will corrupt with flattery, but the people who know their God will be strong and do exploits.

33 And those who are wise among the people will instruct many; yet they will fall by the sword, and by fire, and by captivity, and by plunder, for many days.

34 And when they fall, they will be helped with a little help; but many will join them with flattery.

35 And some of the wise will fall, to be tested, and purified, and made white, until the time of the end, for it is still at the appointed time.

36 And this king will do according to his will, and he will exalt himself and magnify himself above every god; and he will speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and he will prosper until the wrath is accomplished; for what is determined will be done.

37 He will not regard the gods of his fathers, nor will he regard the love of women, nor any god, for he will exalt himself above them all.

38 But he will honor the god of fortresses in his place; and a god whom his fathers did not know he will honor with gold, and with silver, and with precious stones, and with pleasant things.

39 He will deal with fortified castles with the help of a foreign god; to those who acknowledge him he will multiply honor, and he will make them rule over many, and he will divide the land for a price.

40 And at the end of the time the king of the south shall fight with him, and the king of the north shall attack him with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the lands, and shall flood them, and shall pass through.

41 And he shall also enter into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape out of his hand: Edom and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

42 And he shall stretch out his hand to the lands, and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

43 And he shall seize the treasures of gold and silver, and all the desirable things of Egypt; and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall follow him.

44 But rumors from the east and from the north shall alarm him; and he shall go forth with great fury to destroy and annihilate many.

45 And he shall pitch the tents of his palace between the great sea and the holy and glorious mountain; But it will come to its end, and there will be no one to help it.

O livro do profeta Daniel 11

31 E sairão a ele uns braços, que profanarão o santuário e a fortaleza, e tirarão o contínuo sacrifício, estabelecendo a abominação desoladora.

4 पहले महीने के चौबीसवें दिन, मैं बड़ी नदी, टिगरिस के किनारे था;

The Book of the Prophet Daniel 10 An angel announces to Daniel the events of the last days

The Book of the Prophet Daniel 10

An angel announces to Daniel the events of the last days

1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a word was revealed to Daniel, whose name is Belteshazzar; and the word is true, and it concerns a prolonged war; and he understood the word, and had understanding of the vision.

2 In those days I, Daniel, was mourning for three full weeks.

3 I ate no choice food, no meat or wine entered my mouth, nor did I anoint myself with oil, until the three weeks were fulfilled.

4 On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, I was on the bank of the great river, the Tigris;

5 I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, a man clothed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist.

6 His body was like turquoise, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze. and the sound of his words was like the sound of a multitude.

7 I, Daniel, alone saw the vision; the men who were with me did not see it, but a great fear fell upon them, and they fled and hid themselves.

8 So I was left alone, and I saw this great vision, and no strength remained in me; my beauty was turned to weakness, and I retained no strength.

9 But I heard the sound of his words; and when I heard the sound of his words, I fell on my face to the ground, deeply asleep.

10 Then a hand touched me and set me on my knees and on my hands.

11 He said to me, “Daniel, you who are highly esteemed, consider carefully the words I am about to speak to you, and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you.” While he was speaking this word to me, I was trembling.

12 Then he said to me, “Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.

13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

14 Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision concerns many days yet to come.”

15 While he was speaking these words to me, I bowed my face and became speechless.

16 And behold, one like the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips; then I opened my mouth and spoke and said to him who stood before me, “My lord, because of the vision, pains have come upon me, and I have no strength left.”

17 How then can this servant of my Lord speak with my Lord? For as for me, from now on there is no strength left in me, nor is there any breath left in me.

18 Then one like the likeness of a man touched me again and comforted me.

19 And he said, “Do not fear, man greatly beloved; peace be with you; be strong, yes, be strong!” And when he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Speak, my Lord, for you have comforted me.”

20 And he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? I will return to fight against the prince of Persia; and when I go forth, behold, the prince of Greece will come.

21 But I will tell you what is written in the book of truth; and there is no one who stands with me against these except Michael, your prince.”

O livro do profeta Daniel 10

4 E no dia vinte e quatro do primeiro mês, eu estava à borda do grande rio Hidequel;

15 E, falando ele comigo estas palavras, abaixei o meu rosto, e emudeci.

18 E uma como semelhança dum homem me tocou outra vez, e me confortou.

19 E disse: Não temas, homem mui desejado, paz seja contigo; anima-te, sim, anima-te.

5 हमने पाप किया है और गलत किया है; हमने बुराई की है और बगावत की है; हमने तेरे आदेशों और तेरे फैसलों से मुँह मोड़ लिया है;

Daniel's Prayer: The Seventy Weeks: The Messiah

1 In the first year of Darius son of Ahasuerus, of the nation of the Medes, who was made king over the kingdom of the Chaldeans,

2 In the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the books that the number of years, of which the Lord spoke to Jeremiah the prophet, in which the desolations of Jerusalem were to end, was seventy years,

3 So I set my face to the Lord God, seeking him with prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes.

4 Then I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed, “O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love Him and keep His commandments,

5 We have sinned and done wrong; we have acted wickedly and rebelled; we have turned away from Your commandments and Your judgments;

6 We did not listen to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, as well as to all the people of the land.

7 To you, O Lord, belongs righteousness, but to us shame of face, as is seen this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel; to those near and to those far away, in all the lands where you have driven them, because of their transgression, with which they have transgressed against you.

8 O Lord, to us belongs shame of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against you.

9 To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness; for we have rebelled against him,

10 and we have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in his laws, which he gave us by the hand of his servants the prophets.

11 Yes, all Israel has transgressed your law, turning aside so as not to obey your voice; therefore the curse, the oath that is written in the law of Moses, the servant of God, has been poured out on us, because we have sinned against him.

12 And he has confirmed his word, which he spoke against us and against our judges who judged us, bringing upon us a great evil; for never under the whole heaven has there been anything like what has happened in Jerusalem.

13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil has come upon us; yet we have not sought the favor of the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities and apply ourselves to your truth.

14 Therefore the Lord watched over the evil and brought it upon us; for the Lord our God is righteous in all his works that he has done, for we have not obeyed his voice.

15 Indeed, O Lord our God, who brought your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand and made a name for yourself, as is seen this day, we have sinned, we have acted wickedly.

16 O Lord, according to all your righteousness, let your anger and your wrath turn away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain; for because of our sins and the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and your people have become a reproach to all who are around us.

17 Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of your servant and his supplications, and for the Lord’s sake cause your face to shine upon your desolate sanctuary.

18 Incline your ear, O my God; Hear, O Lord: Open your eyes, and see our desolation, and the city which is called by your name; for we do not present our supplications before you because of our righteousness, but because of your great mercy.

19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, listen and act without delay; for your own sake, O my God; for your city and your people are called by your name.

20 While I was still speaking and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God,

21 While I was still speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, came to me in swift flight at the time of the evening sacrifice.

22 And he instructed me and spoke with me, and said, “Daniel, I have now come to give you understanding.”

23 At the beginning of your supplications, the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly loved. Therefore, pay close attention to the word and understand the vision.

24 Seventy weeks are decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.

25 Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Messiah, the Prince, there will be seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks. It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble.

26 After the sixty-two weeks, the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing. The people of the prince who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end will come with a flood. And until the end there will be war: desolations are determined.

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease; and for the overspreading of abominations shall come one that maketh desolate, even until the consummation, and that which is determined, shall be poured upon the desolate.

O livro do profeta Daniel 09

4 E orei ao Senhor meu Deus, e confessei, e disse: Ah! Senhor! Deus grande e tremendo, que guardas o concerto e a misericórdia para com os que te amam e guardam os teus mandamentos;

5 Pecamos, e cometemos iniqüidade, e procedemos impiamente, e fomos rebeldes, apartando-nos dos teus mandamentos e dos teus juízos;

20 Estando eu ainda falando e orando, e confessando o meu pecado, e o pecado do meu povo Israel, e lançando a minha súplica perante a face do Senhor, meu Deus, pelo monte santo do meu Deus,

22 E me instruiu, e falou comigo, e disse: Daniel, agora saí para fazer-te entender o sentido.

The Book of the Prophet Daniel 8 The Vision of a Ram and a Goat

The Book of the Prophet Daniel 8

The Vision of a Ram and a Goat

1 In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar, a vision appeared to me, Daniel, after the one that appeared to me at the beginning.

2 And I saw in the vision (it happened, when I saw, that I was in the city of Susa, in the province of Elam), I saw, therefore, in the vision, that I was by the Ulai River.

3 And I lifted up my eyes and saw, and behold, a ram stood before the river, which had two horns; and the two horns were high, but one was higher than the other; and the higher one came up last.

4 I saw the ram butting westward, and northward, and southward; and no animals could stand before it, nor was there anyone who could deliver out of its hand; but it did according to its will and became great.

5 And as I was considering, behold, a goat came from the west across the face of the whole earth, without touching the ground, and the goat had a notable horn between its eyes.

6 And it came to the ram that had the two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran at it with all the might of its strength.

7 And I saw it come close to the ram, and become enraged against it; and it struck the ram and broke its two horns, for there was no strength in the ram to stand before it; and it threw it to the ground and trampled it underfoot; and there was no one who could deliver the ram from its hand.

8 And the goat became very great; but when it was at its greatest strength, the great horn was broken off, and four notable horns came up in its place toward the four winds of heaven.

9 And out of one of them came a very small horn, which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the glorious land.

10 And it grew great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and trampled them.

11 And it grew great, even to the prince of the host: and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.

12 And the host was given over to him, with the daily sacrifice, because of transgressions; and he cast down the truth to the ground; he did this, and prospered.

13 Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one who was speaking said, “How long shall the vision about the daily sacrifice and the transgression that causes desolation last, so that the sanctuary and the host will be given over to be trampled underfoot?”

14 And he said to me, “For two thousand three hundred evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary shall be cleansed.”

15 And it came to pass, when I, Daniel, had seen the vision, that I sought to understand it; and, behold, there was before me another likeness of a man.

16 And I heard a man’s voice on the banks of the Ulai River, which called out and said, “Gabriel, explain the vision to this man.”

17 So he came near where I stood; and when he came, I was terrified and fell on my face. But he said to me, “Understand, son of man, for the vision concerns the time of the end.”

18 While he was talking with me, I fell facedown to the ground, asleep; but he touched me and set me on my feet.

19 Then he said, “See, I will tell you what will happen in the latter time of the wrath, for it will be carried out at the appointed time of the end.

20 The ram that you saw with the two horns represents the kings of Media and Persia.

21 The shaggy goat is the king of Greece, and the large horn between its eyes is the first king.

22 The fact that it was broken and four others arose in its place means that four kingdoms will arise from the same nation, but not with its power.

23 But at the end of their reign, when the transgressors have finished, a king will arise, fierce in appearance and skilled in divination.

24 His power will grow strong, but not by his own might; he will destroy marvelously and prosper and do as he pleases; he will destroy the strong and the holy people.

25 By his understanding he will also cause deceit to prosper in his hand; he will exalt himself in his heart, and because of tranquility he will destroy many, and he will rise up against the Prince of princes, but he will be broken without human hands.

26 The vision of the evening and the morning that was told is true; but you, seal up the vision, for it will be fulfilled in many days.

27 I, Daniel, was weak and sick for some days; So I got up and went about the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, and there was no one who could understand it.

O livro do profeta Daniel 08 A visão dum carneiro e dum bode

O livro do profeta Daniel 08

A visão dum carneiro e dum bode

5 E, estando eu considerando, eis que um bode vinha do ocidente sobre toda a terra, mas sem tocar no chão, e aquele bode tinha uma ponta notável entre os olhos;

14 E ele me disse: Até duas mil e trezentas tardes e manhãs; e o santuário será purificado.

21 Mas o bode peludo é o rei da Grécia; e a ponta grande que tinha entre os olhos é o rei primeiro;

27 E eu, Daniel, enfraqueci, e estive enfermo alguns dias; então levantei-me e tratei do negócio do rei: e espantei-me acerca da visão, e não havia quem a entendesse.
