1 Thus says the Lord God: The gate of the inner court, which faces east, shall be shut during the six working days; but on the Sabbath day it shall be opened, and also on the day of the new moon it shall be opened.

2 And the prince shall enter by way of the vestibule of the gate, from the outside, and shall stand by the doorpost; and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering, his peace offerings; and he shall bow down at the threshold of the gate, and go out; but the gate shall not be shut until evening.

3 And the people of the land shall bow down at the entrance of the same gate on the Sabbaths and on the new moons before the Lord.

4 And the burnt offering that the prince shall offer to the Lord shall be on the Sabbath day six lambs without blemish, and one ram without blemish.

5 The grain offering shall be an ephah for the ram, and for the lamb, the grain offering shall be as much as he can afford; and a hin of oil for each ephah.

6 But on the day of the new moon it shall be a young bull without blemish, and six lambs and one ram, they shall be without blemish.

7 And he shall prepare for a grain offering an ephah for the bull and an ephah for the ram, but for the lambs, as much as he can afford; and a hin of oil for each ephah.

8 And when the prince enters, he shall enter by the way of the vestibule of the gate, and shall go out by the same way.

9 But when the people of the land come before the Lord at the appointed feasts, he who enters by the way of the north gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he who enters by the way of the south gate shall go out by the way of the north gate; he shall not return by the way of the gate by which he entered, but shall go out by the gate that is directly before him.

10 And the prince shall enter in among them when they enter, and when they go out, they shall all go out.

11 And at feasts and solemn assemblies the grain offering shall be an ephah for the bull, and an ephah for the ram, but for lambs whatever he can afford; and of oil a hin for an ephah.

12 And when the prince makes a freewill offering of burnt offerings or peace offerings, a freewill offering to the Lord, then they shall open for him the gate that faces east, and he shall offer his burnt offering and his peace offerings, as he does on the Sabbath day, and he shall go out, and the gate shall be shut after he goes out.

13 And you shall prepare a lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt offering to the Lord every day; every morning you shall prepare it.

14 And you shall prepare with it a grain offering every morning, a sixth of an ephah, and a third of a hin of oil, to mix with the fine flour, as a grain offering to the Lord, by a perpetual statute.

15 Thus they shall prepare the lamb and the grain offering, and the oil, every morning, as a continual burnt offering.

16 Thus says the Lord God: When the prince gives a gift to one of his sons, it is his inheritance; it shall belong to his sons; it shall be their possession by inheritance.

17 But if he gives a gift from his inheritance to one of his servants, it shall be until the year of liberty; then it shall return to the prince, for it is his inheritance; his sons shall inherit it.

18 And the prince shall take nothing from the people’s inheritance, nor take away their possession: he shall leave an inheritance from his own possession to his sons, so that my people may not be removed, each from his possession.

19 After this he brought me by the entrance that was beside the gate, to the holy chambers of the priests, which faced north; and behold, there was a place on both sides, toward the west.

20 And he said to me, “This is the place where the priests shall cook the guilt offering and the sin offering, and where they shall cook the grain offering, so that they do not bring it to the outer court to sanctify the people.”

21 Then he brought me out to the outer court and made me pass through the four corners of the court; and behold, at each corner of the court there was another court.

22 At the four corners of the courtyard there were enclosed courtyards, with chimneys forty cubits long and thirty cubits wide; these four corners had the same measurement.

23 And there was a wall around them, all around the four; and there were kitchens built under the walls all around.

24 And he said to me, “These are the houses of the cooks, where the ministers of the house will cook the sacrifice of the people.”

1 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: A porta do átrio interior, que olha para o oriente, estará fechada durante os seis dias, que são de trabalho; mas no dia de sábado ela se abrirá; também no dia da lua nova se abrirá.

2 E o príncipe entrará pelo caminho do vestíbulo da porta, por fora, e permanecerá junto da ombreira da porta; e os sacerdotes prepararão o seu holocausto, os seus sacrifícios pacíficos, e ele se prostrará no umbral da porta, e sairá; mas a porta não se fechará até à tarde.

3 E o povo da terra se prostrará à entrada da mesma porta, nos sábados e nas luas novas, diante do Senhor.

4 E o holocausto, que o príncipe oferecer ao Senhor, será, no dia de sábado, seis cordeiros sem mancha, e um carneiro sem mancha.

5 E a oferta de manjares será um efa pelo carneiro, e pelo cordeiro, a oferta de manjares será o que puder dar; e de azeite um him para cada efa.

6 Mas no dia da lua nova será um bezerro, sem mancha: e seis cordeiros e um carneiro, eles serão sem mancha.

7 E preparará por oferta de manjares um efa pelo bezerro e um efa pelo carneiro, mas pelos cordeiros, conforme o que alcançar a sua mão; e um him de azeite para um efa.

9 Mas, quando vier o povo da terra perante a face do Senhor nas solenidades, aquele que entrar pelo caminho da porta do norte, para adorar, sairá pelo caminho da porta sul; e aquele que entrar pelo caminho da porta do sul, sairá pelo caminho da porta do norte: não tornará pelo caminho da porta por onde entrou, mas sairá pela que está em frente dele.

10 E o príncipe entrará no meio deles, quando eles entrarem, e, saindo eles sairão todos.

11 E nas festas e nas solenidades será a oferta de manjares um efa pelo bezerro, e um efa pelo carneiro, mas pelos cordeiros o que puder dar; e de azeite um him para um efa.

12 E, quando o príncipe fizer oferta voluntária de holocaustos, ou de sacrifícios pacíficos, uma oferta voluntária ao Senhor, então lhe abrirão a porta que olha para o oriente, e fará o seu holocausto e os seus sacrifícios pacíficos, como houver feito no dia de sábado, e sairá, e se fechará a porta depois dele sair.

13 E prepararás um cordeiro de um ano, sem mancha, em holocausto ao Senhor, cada dia; todas as manhãs o prepararás.

14 E, juntamente com ele prepararás uma oferta de manjares todas as manhãs, a sexta parte dum efa, e de azeite a terça parte de um him, para misturar com a flor de farinha: por oferta de manjares para o Senhor, em estatutos perpétuos e contínuos.

15 Assim prepararão o cordeiro e a oferta de manjares, e o azeite, todas as manhãs, em holocausto contínuo.

16 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Quando o príncipe der um presente a algum de seus filhos, é sua herança, pertencerá a seus filhos: será possessão deles por herança.

17 Mas, dando ele um presente da sua herança a algum de seus servos, será desde até ao ano da liberdade; então tornará para o príncipe, porque herança dele é; seus filhos, eles a herdarão.

18 E o príncipe, não tomará nada da herança do povo, não os esbulhará da sua possessão: da sua própria possessão deixará herança a seus filhos, para que o meu povo não seja retirado, cada um da sua possessão.

19 Depois disto me trouxe pela entrada que estava ao lado da porta, às câmaras santas dos sacerdotes, que olhavam para o norte; e eis que ali havia um lugar em ambos os lados, para a banda do ocidente.

20 E ele me disse: Este é o lugar onde os sacerdotes cozerão o sacrifício pela culpa, e o sacrifício pelo pecado, e onde cozerão a oferta de manjares, para que a não tragam ao átrio exterior para santificarem o povo.

21 Então me levou para fora, para o átrio exterior, e me fez passar às quatro esquinas do átrio: e eis que em cada esquina do átrio havia outro átrio.

22 Nas quatro esquinas do átrio havia átrios fechados, com chaminés de quarenta côvados de comprimento e de trinta de largura: estas quatro esquinas tinham uma mesma medida.

23 E um muro havia ao redor delas, ao redor das quatro; e havia cozinhas feitas por baixo dos muros ao redor.

24 E me disse: Estas são as casas dos cozinheiros, onde os ministros da casa cozerão o sacrifício do povo.

The Division of the Land: The Holy Place

1 When you divide the land by lot for inheritance, you shall offer an offering to the Lord, a holy place in the land: its length shall be twenty-five thousand cubits, and its width ten thousand; it shall be holy all around.

2 It shall be a sanctuary of five hundred cubits by five hundred cubits, in a square, and it shall have a suburb of fifty cubits around it.

3 From this measure you shall measure a length of twenty-five thousand cubits, and a width of ten thousand; and there shall be the sanctuary and the most holy place.

4 This shall be the holy place in the land; it shall be for the priests, the ministers of the sanctuary, who approach it to minister to the Lord; and it shall be for them a place for houses, and a holy place for the sanctuary.

5 And the Levites, the ministers of the house, shall have as their possession twenty-five thousand measures of length, for twenty chambers. 

6 And for the possession of the city, you shall give five thousand reeds in width and twenty-five thousand in length, opposite the holy offering; this shall be for all the house of Israel.

7 The prince shall have his portion on this side and on the other side of the holy offering, and of the possession of the city, opposite the holy offering, and opposite the possession of the city, at the western corner toward the west, and at the eastern corner toward the east; and the length, opposite one of the sides, shall be from the western border to the eastern border.

8 And this land shall be his possession in Israel; and my princes shall no more oppress my people, but shall leave the land to the house of Israel according to their tribes.

9 Thus says the Lord God: Enough, O princes of Israel! Put away violence and desolation, and do justice and righteousness; remove your impositions from my people, says the Lord God.

10 You shall have just balances, a just ephah, and a just bath.

11 The ephah and the bath shall be of the same measure, so that the bath shall be one-tenth of a homer, and the ephah one-tenth of a homer; according to the homer shall be its measure.

12 And the shekel shall be twenty gerahs: twenty shekels, twenty-five shekels, and fifteen shekels shall serve you as a pound.

13 This shall be the offering which you shall make: one-sixth of an ephah from each homer of wheat; you shall also give one-sixth of an ephah from each homer of barley.

14 As for the statute of the oil, from each bath of oil you shall offer one-tenth of a bath taken from a cor, which is a homer of ten baths; for ten baths make a homer.

15 And one lamb from the flock, out of every two hundred, from the best watered land of Israel, for a grain offering, and for a burnt offering, and for a peace offering; that they may make atonement for them, says the Lord God.

16 All the people of the land shall contribute to this offering for the prince of Israel.

17 And the prince shall be responsible for the burnt offerings, and the grain offerings, and the drink offerings, at the feasts, and at the new moons, and at the Sabbaths, at all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel; he shall make atonement for sin, and the grain offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make atonement for the house of Israel.

18 Thus says the Lord God: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall take a young bull without blemish, and purify the sanctuary.

19 The priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering and put it on the doorposts of the temple, on the four corners of the altar, and on the doorposts of the inner court.

20 You shall do the same on the seventh day of the month, for those who sin and for the simple-minded; you shall make atonement for the temple.

21 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, you shall have the Passover, a feast of seven days; you shall eat unleavened bread.

22 On that same day the prince shall offer a young bull as a sin offering for himself and for all the people of the land.

23 During the seven days of the feast he shall offer a burnt offering to the Lord, seven young bulls and seven rams without blemish, each day for seven days, and a sin offering of a male goat each day.

24 He shall also prepare a grain offering: an ephah for each bull, and an ephah for each ram, and a hin of oil for each ephah.

25 In the seventh month, on the fifteenth day of the month, at the feast, he shall do the same for all seven days, both the sacrifice for atonement, and the burnt offering, and the grain offering, and the oil.

1 Quando pois repartirdes a terra por sortes em herança, oferecereis uma oferta ao Senhor, um lugar santo da terra: o comprimento será de vinte e cinco mil canas, e a largura de dez mil: este será santo em todo o seu contorno ao redor.

2 E será santuário de quinhentas com mais quinhentas, em quadrado, e terá em redor um arrabalde de cinqüenta côvados.

3 E desta medida medirás um comprimento de vinte e cinco mil côvados, e uma largura de dez mil: e ali estará o santuário e o lugar santíssimo.

4 Este será o lugar santo da terra; ele será para os sacerdotes, ministros do santuário, que dele se aproximam para servir ao Senhor; e lhes servirá de lugar para casas, e de lugar santo para o santuário.

5 E terão os levitas, ministros da casa, por possessão sua, vinte e cinco mil medidas de comprimento, para vinte câmaras.

6 E para possessão da cidade, de largura dareis cinco mil canas, e de comprimento vinte e cinco mil, defronte da oferta santa: o que será para toda a casa de Israel.

7 O príncipe porém terá a sua parte desta e da outra banda da santa oferta, e da possessão da cidade, diante da santa oferta, e diante da possessão da cidade, na esquina ocidental para o ocidente, e na esquina oriental para o oriente; e será o comprimento, defronte duma das partes, desde o termo ocidental até ao termo oriental.

8 E esta terra será a sua possessão em Israel; e os meus príncipes nunca mais oprimirão o meu povo, antes deixarão a terra à casa de Israel, conforme as suas tribos.

9 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Basta já, ó príncipes de Israel; afastai a violência e a assolação, e praticai juízo e justiça: tirai as vossas imposições do meu povo, diz o Senhor Jeová.

10 Balanças justas, e efa justa, e bato justo tereis.

11 O efa e o bato serão duma mesma medida, de maneira que o bato contenha a décima parte do ômer, e o efa a décima parte do ômer; conforme o ômer será a sua medida.

12 E o siclo será de vinte geras: vinte siclos, vinte e cinco siclos, e quinze siclos vos servirão de um arrátel.

13 Esta será a oferta que haveis de fazer: a sexta parte de um efa de cada ômer de trigo; também dareis a sexta parte de um efa de cada ômer de cevada.

14 Quanto ao estatuto do azeite, de cada bato de azeite oferecereis a décima parte do bato tirado de um coro, que é um ômer de dez batos; porque dez batos fazem um ômer.

15 E um cordeiro do rebanho, de cada duzentos, da mais regada terra de Israel, para oferta de manjares, e para holocausto, e para sacrifício pacífico; para que façam expiação por eles, diz o Senhor Jeová.

16 Todo o povo da terra concorrerá para esta oferta, pelo príncipe de Israel.

17 E estarão a cargo do príncipe os holocaustos, e as ofertas de manjares, e as libações, nas festas, e nas luas novas, e nos sábados, em todas as solenidades da casa de Israel: ele fará a expiação pelo pecado, e a oferta de manjares, e o holocausto, e os sacrifícios pacíficos, para fazer expiação pela casa de Israel.

18 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: No primeiro mês, no primeiro dia do mês, tomarás um bezerro sem mancha, e purificarás o santuário.

19 E o sacerdote tomará do sangue do sacrifício pela expiação, e porá dele nas ombreiras da casa, e nas quatro esquinas da listra do altar, e nas ombreiras da porta do átrio interior.

20 Assim também farás no sétimo dia do mês, por causa dos que erram, e por causa dos símplices: assim expiareis a casa.

21 No primeiro mês, no dia catorze do mês, tereis a páscoa, uma festa de sete dias; pão asmo se comerá.

22 E o príncipe no mesmo dia, por si e por todo o povo da terra, preparará um bezerro de expiação pelo pecado.

23 E nos sete dias da festa preparará um holocausto ao Senhor, de sete bezerros e sete carneiros sem mancha, cada dia durante sete dias; e o sacrifício de expiação de um bode cada dia.

24 Também preparará uma oferta de manjares: um efa por cada bezerro, e um efa por cada carneiro, e um him de azeite por cada efa.

25 No sétimo mês, no dia quinze do mês, na festa, fará o mesmo todos os sete dias, tanto o sacrifício pela expiação, como o holocausto, e como a oferta de manjares, e como o azeite.

5 And the Lord said to me, “Son of man, consider in your heart, and see with your eyes, and hear with your ears, all that I shall tell you concerning all the statutes of the house of the Lord and all its laws; And consider in your heart the entrance of the house, with all the exits of the sanctuary.

6 And say to the rebels, to the house of Israel: Thus says the Lord God: Enough of all your abominations, O house of Israel!

14 However, I will appoint them as keepers of the ordinance of the house, in all its service, and in everything that is done in it.

15 But the Levitical priests, the sons of Zadok, who kept the ordinance of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, shall come near to me to minister to me, and they shall stand before me to offer me the fat and the blood, says the Lord God.

16 They shall enter my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table to minister to me, and they shall keep my ordinance.

17 And it shall be that when they enter through the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall be put upon them, when they minister in the gates of the inner court, within the house.

18 They shall have linen turbans on their heads and linen undergarments around their waists; they shall not gird themselves with anything that causes them to sweat.

19 When they go out to the outer court, to the people in the outer court, they shall take off the garments in which they ministered and put them in the holy chambers, and put on other garments, so that they do not consecrate the people with their garments.

20 They shall not shave their heads or let their hair grow long, but they shall trim their hair as is proper.

21 No priest shall drink wine when he enters the inner court.

22 They shall not marry a widow or a divorced woman, but shall take virgins from the lineage of the house of Israel, or a widow who is a priest’s widow.

23 And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

4 The glory of the Lord entered the temple by the gate facing east.

5 Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the temple.

6 And I heard a voice coming to me from within the temple, and a man stood beside me.

7 Then he said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell among the Israelites forever. No longer will the Israelites or their kings defile my holy name—they will do so by their sexual immorality or by the carcasses of their kings on their high places.

8 They have set their door next to my door and their threshold next to my threshold, making a wall between me and them. They have defiled my holy name by the detestable things they have done, and I have consumed them in my anger.

2 The north entrance was a hundred cubits long and fifty cubits wide.

3 In front of the twenty cubits that the inner court was, and in front of the pavement that the outer court was, there was gallery against gallery on three levels.

4 And before the chambers there was a walkway ten cubits wide on the inside, and a path one cubit wide; and their entrances were toward the north.

5 And the upper chambers were narrower, because the galleries here took up more space than in the lower and middle chambers of the building.

6 For they were three stories high, and they did not have columns like the columns of the courts; Therefore, from the ground they narrowed more than those below and those in the middle.

7 And the wall that was outside, opposite the chambers, on the way to the outer court, before the chambers, was fifty cubits long.

8 For the length of the chambers that were in the outer court was fifty cubits; and behold, in front of the temple there were one hundred cubits.

9 And from the lower part of these chambers was the entrance on the east side, when one enters them from the outer court.

15 And when he had finished measuring the inner temple, he brought me out by way of the gate that faces east; and he measured all around.

16 He measured the east side with the measuring rod, five hundred rods with the measuring rod all around.

2 The width of the entrance was ten cubits, and the sides of the entrance were five cubits on one side and five cubits on the other. He also measured its length and forty cubits, and its width twenty cubits.

3 He went inside and measured the entrance pillar: two cubits, the entrance six cubits, and the width of the entrance seven cubits.

4 He also measured its length and twenty cubits, twenty cubits, in front of the temple, and said to me, “This is the Most Holy Place.”

5 He measured the wall of the temple, six cubits, and the width of the side chambers, four cubits, all around the temple.

6 The side chambers, chamber upon chamber, were thirty-three in order, and they entered the wall that touched the temple by the side chambers all around, to be supported by them, because they did not rest on the wall of the temple.

7 The width and curve of the side chambers were greater upwards, because the spiral of the temple rose very high all around the temple, so that the temple had more width upwards, and thus from the lower chamber one ascended to the upper chamber through the middle.

8 I looked at the height of the temple all around: the foundations of the side chambers were the measure of a whole reed, six large cubits.

9 The thickness of the outer wall of the side chambers was five cubits, and what was left empty was the place of the side chambers, which were next to the temple.

10 And between the chambers there was a width of twenty cubits all around the temple.

11 And the entrances of the side chambers faced the empty space: one entrance toward the north, and another entrance toward the south; and the width of the empty space was five cubits all around.

12 Also, the building that was in front of the separate place, at the corner of the westward way, was seventy cubits wide; and the wall of the building was five cubits wide all around; and its length was ninety cubits.

13 And he measured the temple, and the length of the separate place, and the building, and its walls, was one hundred cubits long.

14 And the width of the front of the temple, and of the separate place toward the east, on either side, was one hundred cubits.

15 He also measured the length of the building, in front of the separate place that was behind it, and its galleries on either side, one hundred cubits, including the inner temple and the vestibules of the courtyard.

16 The doorposts and the narrow windows, and the galleries around the three, opposite the doorpost, were covered with wood all around; and this from the floor to the windows; and the windows were covered;

17 As far as the space above the door, and as far as the inner and outer temple, and as far as the entire wall all around, inside and out, all with measurements.

18 And it was made with cherubim and palm trees, so that each palm tree was between cherub and cherub, and each cherub had two faces,

19 Namely: one face of a man looked toward the palm tree on one side and one face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other: thus it was made all around the house.

20 From the ground up to above the entrance were cherubim and palm trees, as well as on the wall of the temple.

21 The doorposts of the temple were square, and, as for the front of the sanctuary, the design of one was like the design of the other.

22 The wooden altar was three cubits high, and its length two cubits, and it had its corners; and its foundation and its walls were of wood; and he said to me, “This is the table that is before the Lord.”

23 And the temple and the sanctuary both had two doors.

24 And there were two doorposts: two swinging doorposts: two for one door, and two doorposts for the other.

25 And cherubim and palm trees were made on them, on the doors of the temple, as they were made on the walls, and there was a thick wooden beam from the front of the vestibule on the outside.

26 There were narrow windows, and palm trees, on either side, on the sides of the vestibule, as well as in the chambers of the temple and in the thick beams.

1 Então me levou ao templo, e mediu os pilares, seis côvados de largura de uma banda, e seis côvados de largura da outra, que era a largura do tabernáculo.

2 E a largura da entrada, dez côvados; e os lados da entrada, cinco côvados de uma banda e cinco côvados da outra: também mediu o seu comprimento, de quarenta côvados, e a largura de vinte côvados.

3 E entrou dentro, e mediu o pilar da entrada, dois côvados, e a entrada, seis côvados, e a largura da entrada, sete côvados.

4 Também mediu o seu comprimento, vinte côvados, e a largura, vinte côvados, diante do templo, e me disse: Esta é a Santidade das Santidades.

5 E mediu a parede do templo, seis côvados, e a largura das câmaras laterais, quatro côvados, por todo o redor do templo.

6 E as câmaras laterais, câmara sobre câmara, eram trinta e três por ordem, e entravam na parede que tocava no templo pelas câmaras laterais em redor, para se susterem nelas, porque não travavam da parede do templo.

7 E havia maior largura e volta nas câmaras laterais para cima, porque o caracol do templo subia mui alto por todo o redor do templo, por isso que o templo tinha mais largura para cima, e assim da câmara baixa se subia à mais alta pelo meio.

8 E olhei para altura do templo em redor: e eram os fundamentos das câmaras laterais da medida de uma cana inteira, seis côvados grandes.

9ª grossura da parede das câmaras laterais de fora era de cinco côvados, e o que foi deixado vazio era o lugar das câmaras laterais, que estavam junto ao templo.

10 E entre as câmaras havia a largura de vinte côvados por todo o redor do templo.

11 E as entradas das câmaras laterais estavam voltadas para o lugar vazio: uma entrada para o caminho do norte, e outra entrada para o do sul: e a largura do lugar vazio era de cinco côvados em redor.

12 Era também o edifício que estava diante do lugar separado, à esquina do caminho do ocidente, da largura de setenta côvados; e a parede do edifício de cinco côvados de largura em redor; e o seu comprimento era de noventa côvados.

13 E mediu o templo, do comprimento de cem côvados, como também o lugar separado, e o edifício, e as suas paredes, cem côvados de comprimento.

14 E a largura da dianteira do templo, e do lugar separado para o oriente, de uma e de outra parte, cem côvados.

15 Também mediu o comprimento do edifício, diante do lugar separado, que estava por detrás, e as suas galerias de uma e de outra parte, cem côvados, com o templo de dentro e os vestíbulos do átrio.

16 Os umbrais e as janelas estreitas, e as galerias em redor dos três, defronte do umbral, estavam cobertas de madeira em redor; e isto desde o chão até às janelas; e as janelas estavam cobertas;

17 Até ao espaço em cima da porta, e até ao templo de dentro e de fora, e até toda a parede em redor, por dentro e por fora, tudo com medidas.

18 E foi feito com querubins e palmeiras, de maneira que cada palmeira estava entre querubim e querubim, e cada querubim tinha dois rostos,

19 A saber: um rosto de homem olhava para a palmeira de uma banda e um rosto de leãozinho para a palmeira da outra: assim foi feito por toda a casa em redor.

20 Desde o chão até acima da entrada estavam feitos os querubins e as palmeiras, como também pela parede do templo.

21 As ombreiras do templo eram quadradas, e, no tocante à dianteira do santuário, a feição de uma era como a feição da outra.

22 O altar de madeira era de três côvados de altura, e o seu comprimento de dois côvados, e tinha as suas esquinas; e o seu fundamento e as suas paredes eram de madeira; e me disse: Esta é a mesa que está perante a face do Senhor.

23 E o templo e o santuário ambos tinham duas portas.

24 E havia dois batentes para as portas: dois batentes volantes: dois para uma porta, e dois batentes para a outra.

25 E foram feitos nelas, nas portas do templo, querubins e palmeiras, como estavam feitos nas paredes, e havia uma trave grossa de madeira da dianteira do vestíbulo por fora.

26 Havia janelas estreitas, e palmeiras, de uma e de outra banda, nos lados do vestíbulo, como também nas câmaras do templo e nas grossas traves.
