Joseph in prison interprets two dreams
1 It happened after these things they sinned the cupbearer to the king of Egypt and the baker, against their lord the king of Egypt.
2 And very wroth against his two eunuchs, against the chief butler and against the chief baker.
3 And he delivered them to prison, the house of the captain of the guard in the prison, the place where Joseph was imprisoned.
4 And the captain of the guard put them in charge of Joseph, and he served them; and were many days in prison.
5 And they both dreamed a dream, each man his dream in one night, each according to the interpretation of his dream, the cupbearer and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were bound in the prison.
6 And Joseph came to them in the morning and looked at them, and behold, they were troubled.
7 Then asked Pharaoh's eunuchs, who were with him in his master's house the prison, saying, Why are you sad today do you look?
8 And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret. And Joseph said to them: Are not interpretations belong to God? Contai me, I pray you.
9 Then said the chief cupbearer his dream to Joseph, and said, Behold, in my dream a vine was before me,
10 And in the vine were three branches, and it was like sprouting; the flower left, its clusters ripened into grapes;
11 And Pharaoh's cup was in my hand, and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh's cup, and gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand.
12 Then Joseph said to him: this is the interpretation: The three branches are three days;
13 In yet three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and restore you to your state, and will give Pharaoh's cup into his hand, after the former manner when you were his cupbearer.
14 But remember me when it will be well; and I pray thee, with me uses of compassion, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house;
15 For indeed I was stolen away in the land of the Hebrews; and so little here have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.
16 Seeing then chief baker who had played well, said to Joseph, I also dreamed, and behold, three white baskets were on my head;
17 And in the uppermost basket there was of all Pharaoh's dainties, baker's work; and the birds ate them out of the basket on my head.
18 And Joseph answered and said, This is the interpretation: The three baskets are three days;
19 In yet three days Pharaoh will lift up your head about you and hang you on a stick, and the birds will eat your flesh from you.
20 And it happened on the third day, the day of Pharaoh's birth, who made a feast unto all his servants; and he raised the head of the chief butler and the head of the chief baker in the midst of his servants.
21 And he did make the chief cupbearer to his office of cup-bearer, and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand,
22 But the chief baker he hanged, as Joseph had interpreted.
23 The chief butler but did not remember Joseph but forgot him.

12 Então disse-lhe José: esta é a sua interpretação: Os três sarmentos são três dias;
13 Dentro ainda de três dias Faraó levantará a sua cabeça, e te restaurará ao teu estado, e darás o copo de Faraó na sua mão, conforme o costume antigo, quando era seu copeiro.
14 Porém lembra-te de mim, quando te for bem; e rogo-te que uses comigo de compaixão, e que faças menção de mim a Faraó, e faze-me sair desta casa;
15 Porque, de fato, fui roubado na terra dos hebreus; e tão pouco aqui nada tenho feito para que me pusessem nesta cova.
16 Vendo então o padeiro-mor que tinha interpretado bem, disse a José: Eu também sonhava, e eis que três cestos brancos estavam sobre a minha cabeça;
17 E no cesto mais alto havia de todos os manjares de Faraó, obra de padeiro; e as aves os comiam do cesto de sobre a minha cabeça.
18 Então respondeu José, e disse: Esta é a sua interpretação: Os três cestos são três dias;

20 E aconteceu ao terceiro dia, o dia do nascimento de Faraó, que fez um banquete a todos seus servos; e levantou a cabeça do copeiro-mor, e a cabeça do padeiro-mor, no meio de seus servos.
21 E fez tornar o copeiro-mor ao seu ofício de copeiro, e este deu o copo na mão de Faraó,

23 The jailer chief looked not to any thing that was in his hand; because the LORD was with him, and all he was doing the Lord prospered.
