Ruth will scribble cobs

1 And Naomi had a relative of her husband, a brave and powerful man, from the generation of Elimelech: and his name was Boaz.

2 And Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, "Let me go to the field, and I will pick ears after the one in whose eyes I find grace." And she said to him: Go, my daughter.

3 So he came and got ears of corn in the field after the reapers: and a part of the field of Boaz, which belonged to the generation of Elimelech, fell into his lot.

4 And behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said to the reapers, The Lord be with you. And they said to him, The Lord bless you.

5 Then Boaz said to his young man, who was standing on the reapers, Whose girl is this?

6 And the young man, who was on the reapers, answered and said, This is the Moabite girl who returned with Naomi from the fields of Moab.

7 She said to me, Let me pick ears, and gather them between the sheaves after the mowers. So she came, and since the morning she has been here until now, unless she was sitting at home.
