Leviticus 24 The penalty of sin of blasphemy

Leviticus 24
The penalty of sin of blasphemy
And there appeared a son of an Israelite woman, which was the son of an Egyptian, among the children of Israel: and the Israelite's son and an Israelite man stood in the camp.
And the son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the name of the LORD, and cursed him for what they brought to Moses: and the name of his mother was Shelomith the daughter of Dibri of the tribe of Dan.
And they brought him into the prison, until it was made a statement unto them by the mouth of Jehovah.
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Take away him that hath blasphemed outside the camp; and all that hear shall lay their hands upon his head: then shall all the congregation stone him.
And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his iniquity.
And whosoever shall blaspheme the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death; the whole congregation shall surely stone him: so the stranger as a native, blaspheming the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.
And whoso slayeth one shall surely be put to death.
But whoever kills an animal will restore it, life for life.
And if any man defile his neighbor, even as he hath done thus, it shall be done unto him:
Breaking for a break, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth: for as he hath disfigured a man, so shall it be done unto him.
Whoever kills an animal, he will restore it, but whoever kills a man will be put to death.
You shall have the same law: so shall the stranger be as the natural; for I am the Lord your God.
And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, that they should bring the blasphemer out of the camp, and stone him with stones: and the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.
