Leviticus 22 The law about eating holy things

Leviticus 22

The law about eating holy things
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Tell Aaron and his sons to turn away from the holy things of the children of Israel, which have sanctified me, that they should not profane the name of my holiness: I am Jehovah.
Say to them, "Let every man among your generations, and all your seed, come near to the holy things which the children of Israel have sanctified unto the LORD, and his filthiness, and that soul shall be cut off from mine own face: I am the Lord.
No one of the seed of Aaron, who is leprous or has a stream, shall eat of the holy things until he is cleansed: as also he who touches something unclean of a corpse, or one from which the seed of copulation comes forth,
Or whoever toucheth any creeping thing, therefore he hath made himself unclean, or any man; therefore he became unclean by all his uncleanness.
And the man that toucheth him shall be unclean until the evening, and shall not eat of the holy things, but bathe his flesh in water.
And when the sun is set, then it shall be clean, and afterward it shall eat of the holy things; for this is his bread.
The dead body and the lacerated body shall not eat, lest it defile it: I am the Lord.
And they shall keep my commandment, that they bear no sin, and die in him, and have profaned it: I am the LORD that sanctifieth them.
Neither shall any stranger eat of holy things: neither the guest of the priest nor the hired servant shall eat of the holy things.
But when the priest shall buy a soul with money, the same shall eat of it, and the one that is born in his house: they shall eat of his bread.
And when the daughter of the priest shall marry a strange man, he shall not eat of the wave offering of holy things.
But when the priest's daughter is a widow or put away, and she has no seed, and if she has returned to her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's bread; but no stranger shall eat of it.
And when a man eateth the holy thing in error, he shall add his fifth part thereof, and give it to the priest with the holy thing.
And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto the LORD,
And they shall not cause them to be guilty, and eat their holy things: for I am the LORD that sanctifies them.
