The penalties of various crimes

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2 And thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Whosoever of the children of Israel shall give of his seed unto Molech shall surely be put to death; The people of the land will stone him with stones.

3 And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people, because he gave his seed to Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.

4 And if the people of the earth somehow hide their eyes from the man who gave their seed to Molech and does not kill them,

5 And I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and I will cut him off out of the midst of his people, and all that go a whoring after him, and shall commit whoredom after Molech.

6 When a soul turns to the diviners and enchanters, to commit whoredom after them, I will set my face against that soul, and will cut it off from among its people.

7 Therefore sanctify yourselves, and be holy, for I am the Lord your God.

8 And keep my statutes, and do them: I am the Lord that sanctify you.

9 When a man curses his father or his mother, he shall surely die: he has cursed his father or his mother; His blood is upon him.

10 And the man that committeth adultery with the wife of another, having committed adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

11 And the man that lieth with his father's wife has discovered the nakedness of his father; Both shall surely die: his blood is upon them.

12 And when a man lies with his daughter-in-law, they shall surely both die: they have made confusion; Their blood is upon them.

13 And when a man lieth with another man, as with a woman, they both have abomination; They shall surely die; Their blood is upon them.

14 And when a man take a wife and his mother, it is wickedness: they shall burn him with fire, that there be no wickedness among you.

15 And when a man lie down with an animal, he shall surely be put to death; And you shall kill the beast.

16 And the woman that cometh to the beast, that she may have intercourse with him, that woman shalt thou kill with the beast; They shall surely die; Their blood is upon them.

17 And when a man shall take his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother, and he shall see her nakedness, and she shall come his own, he shall be ashamed: therefore they shall be cut off from the eyes of the children of his people; The nakedness of her sister, shall bear her iniquity.

18 And when a man lies with a woman that hath his sickness, and uncovereth her nakedness, and hath discovered her fountain, and she hath discovered the fountain of her blood, both shall be cut off from the midst of her people.

19 And the nakedness of thy mother's sister, or of the sister of thy father, thou shalt not uncover: because he hath uncovered his kinswoman, they shall bear their iniquity.

20 And when a man lay with his aunt, he discovered his uncle's nakedness; Without children they will die.

21 And when a man take the wife of his brother, uncleanness is: the nakedness of his brother has discovered: no children shall be left.

22 Keep therefore all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them; lest the land provoke you, and I will bring you to dwell therein.

23 And do not walk in the statutes of the people whom I cast out before your face, because they have done all these things: therefore I have borne them.

24 And I said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to inherit it, a land flowing with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, who separated you from the peoples.

25 And I will make a distinction between clean and unclean beasts, and between unclean and clean birds; And your souls, you shall not do for the beasts, or for the birds, or for anything that creeps on the earth; Which I have departed from you to have as unclean.

26 And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and separate yourselves from the peoples, that ye may be mine.

27 When therefore a man or a woman hath a diviner spirit, or a charmer, they shall surely die: they shall be stoned with stones; Their blood is upon them.
